Comments about Granite Gear Traditional Canoe Portage Pack #4:
Have owned this product for about five years and it can get heavy if loaded wrong. I balance the weight I put in it with the type of things I carry. Holds my tent, sleeping bags, sleep pads, saw, rain tarp, rain suits and extra shoes for three people. Love what it can hold.

Comments about Granite Gear Traditional Canoe Portage Pack #4:
This pack is a less expensive alternative to the Granite Gear Superior pack. Same carrying capacity, same color, but simpler/cheaper load bearing system. Not a lot of adjustment available on the straps compared to the more expensive version, but it's also 30% less expensive. I like this version for shorter portages, but prefer the better suspension of the Quetico (medium) or Superior (large) Granite Gear for 100+ rod portages (especially if you have a lot of them).

Comments about Granite Gear Traditional Canoe Portage Pack #4:
This is a huge pack! Sits great on the bottom of the canoe. Harness system is very comfortable and adjustable. This is a great alternative to the old Duluth Packs. The handles on the side make it a breeze to lift out of the canoe. my new favorite! A must in the BWCAW or Quetico
