Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Pad - Short:
When I first got this, it worked great! I loved how it was lightweight, and didn't take up very much space in my pack. It works really well length-wise when I added my crazy creek on to the end for sleeping on the cold ground.(I'm 5'8"). My problems started right before I went on a 3-week backpacking/canyoneering trip to Utah in March. My sleeping pad had stopped retaining air upon sleeping on it, so I spent the next 4 weeks of my camping trips essentially sleeping on the cold ground, because the pad didn't do me any good. I went through the process of filling up my bathtub with water and submerging the inflated pad to find the hole and the entire side that I sleep on became full of air bubbles being released from the pad. I take this to mean that the sealant was gone. Needless to say, that's not an easy fix and as a result, I am highly disappointed in this product because now I'm out of a sleeping pad and [$] What a tool.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Pad - Short:
This is a great product for the money. It's light and compact. The construction is solid. There are products out there that are double and triple the price, but this is really all anyone would need.
Stick a fleece in the stuff sack and you've got a pillow, too.

Comments about REI Lite-Core 1.5 Self-Inflating Pad - Short:
My main attraction to this pad was the clearance price. However, after using it a couple of times, I can tell this pad is the one that will get used.
I usually sleep on a 1 inch foam pad, so this is quite comfortable, but there will be those who will expect it to feel like their bed at home.
Compact and lightweight!
Service and delivery comments:
I was a little surprised that in-store pickup took as long as it did (11 days), but I guess it was free.
