    I bought this for my son and the 3.5" for myself. Both are great - easy to add to a backpack. They are more comfortable and quieter than a regular air mattress. Still need to buy one more but they were sold out.

    My old aching bones can't stand to sleep on a hard surface, especially the ground. My first use of this product was sleeping on the floor of a National Guard Armory. The pad inflated on its own after I unrolled it. I must say that I slept very well on the pad. No painful pressure points to wake me up in the middle of the night. It took a little effort to roll it back up. I had to roll it up once to get out as much as possible, then I closed the valve, unrolled it, and rerolled it, opening the value as the air was compressed towards the valve. It is a little heavy, but for the comfort it provides, I'll carry it where ever I need to take it. Even on a long hike with the Boy Scouts.
