          this was was a great investment, i was buying webbing for anchor building and i figured i might pick up a few of these. it was such a good decision! i bought 3, 2 of these and 1 of the longer ones and i could not be happier with them i use them for extending gear placements and for extending my anchors. if your looking for slings get these.

                  Comments about Black Diamond 18mm Nylon Runners:

                  I can't decide if I love these or not; they're a little bit cheaper than spectra, but they lose more strength when knotted, they're harder to untie, kind of bulky as extendable draws, and I'm not sure they're any more abrasion resistant than spectra.

                  They do make good leashes with the addition of a few overhand knots, and I think they're a bit less harmful to tree bark as anchors.
