The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
Got this and the bowl version for camping, and now I use them every night at home. Lightweight, strong, and a great size.
The edge is rolled over to add strength and so it doesn't have sharp edges, and food can get stuck in that fold, but that's not a huge deal. Ideal would be the edge is thicker than the rest of the bowl so it doesn't have to be rolled over, but that would add extra cost to the makers, and to us, so this is the best value. But it's worth noting.
I will be buying more for home use.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
This is a metal plate, so the comments from others about it not keeping food warm should be self-evident.
That said, I own a lot of titanium ware (most of it snow peak, most of it nestles so well) and really like it. This plate is small compared to car camping stuff, but it is for backpacking or for a day on the trail. I have had one of these plates for more than a year now and I like it so much I purchased another. I have found that if you press hard enough you can leave a knife mark (slippped while cutting some meat with a really sharp knife) but if it had been an aluminum or plastic plate I would have most likely gone through the plate.
These are very light weight and the curled up edge is really nice to keep your food on the plate and give you a scooping edge for your spoon. I use mine to add a touch of class when camping. Is a plate really necessary? No, but it is really nice to have. I go under the idea that if I have to eat grubbs to survive I want to do it in style.
I have found titanium very durable (Al stuff would have failed under the same conditions). You can cook with it (a camp flame or wood fire cannot get hot enough to melt titanium) though it is a very good heat conductor so things heat up very quickly when using it to cook.
I would and plan on purchasing more of this stuff in the future. They are relatively expensive, so it takes some time to accumlate titanium.
I have found that customer service from both REI and Snow Peak to be exceptional, which is a big reason why I keep purchasing their branded products.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
I used it this past weekend on the AT and it worked great! It's a great size, slides into my pack easily, very sturdy, super light and cleans up quickly. The lip on the plate is bigger than I expected which was nice and made it easy to scoop up whatever I was munching. It also helped in fanning our fire. I'd hesitate to take this plate when you expect the temps to drop because it is Titanium and your food will get cold fairly quickly.
Other than that, it's a great addition to my cook set.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
it really is the perfect plate. in a pinch, you can also cook with it. scrambled eggs. although you need to make sure the that it is spread out the food since any areas without food will heat differently and it will slightly warp temporarily. forget about cooking with an aluminum plate as it will immediately warp & spill. unlike lexan plates, this can also double as a pot lid.
absolutely no worry about it bending in your pack. it is titanium. doubles as a frisbee & fan your bbq fire.
lightweight, durable, can cook with it, frisbee, fan a fire = perfect backcountry plate.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
This plate makes an excellent compliment to the titanium Snow Peak bowl and cutlery set. Plate is a little small but big enough to eat camping meals on. Smaller diameter also makes it easier to pack.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
Too small to be useful. I also have the feeling it would bend up too easily in my backpack. I still use my lexan/plastic backpacking dish, which is better for hot recipes. I own all the titanium gear I have reviewed, and bought it from REI. Some of it I like, some of it isn't any good at all.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
If you need a plate, this is the one to get. The best plate there is. Really not that expensive compared to things like pots. So for that, I give it 5 stars.
However, I have never needed a plate when I backpacked. I'm not sure why I thought I would need this. Hopefully I find a good use for it. Maybe I can cook stuff that needs to be cooked in a pan on it.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
This is great for everyday use! I use it in the oven at home, and broil stuff on it. I have baked small batch cookies on it. It cools down quickly and is easy to handle only a short time after removing from oven. Best of all, it is dishwasher friendly. I have had mine about 3 years, and still looks new.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Plate:
If the meals you plan require a plate, this is the one to buy. At 2oz. you won't even notice it in your pack.
