First used by fishermen in the North Atlantic, these battery-heated socks will keep your toes toasty on the trail or in the stands.

  • To turn heat on, insert battery and snap pouch closed; to turn off, un-snap the pouch (remove batteries when not in use)
  • Designed to keep your feet warm but not hot, you'll get the maximum benefit by turning socks on and off often
  • Wool naturally wicks moisture for dry comfort; Hollofil® polyester provides added warmth
  • Acrylic and nylon for durability and easy on/off
  • Socks are extremely safe: Low amperage eliminates all possibility of shock or burn, even when wet
  • Socks use two D batteries (sold separately); Fully charged batteries will last 5-6 hours and rechargeable batteries will last 2-3 hours
  • Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent. Do not wring, hang dry or towel dry only

    Sizing is as follows:
  • XS fits men's shoe sizes 5 - 6.5 and women's shoe sizes 6 - 8
  • Small fits men's shoe sizes 7 - 8.5 and women's shoe sizes 8.5 - 10
  • Medium fits men's shoe sizes 9 - 10.5 and women's shoe sizes 10.5 - 12
  • Large fits men's shoe sizes 11 - 13

        These socks were given to me as a gift.. I would regift these, but its not much of a gift. No noticeable heat, huge batteries make walking or sleeping uncomfortable/unreasonable. These might be useful if you cut the wires and battery holder off and use them as regular tall socks.

        Absolutely worthless.... no detectable heat. ...weight of "D" cells dragged sox down to ankles as constant reminder that I had wasted [$] Finally put in new batteries, (further expense) & strapped a fairly sensitive thermistor to the toe. After 30 min. I recorded a raise of 0.04 degree F.. Potential error of the thermistor was + or - 0.5° [...].

            I bought these to keep my feet warm during very cold nights. They did not do anything at all except feel bulky.

            It is a waste of money!

              I took these puppies on snow hike, and I was disappointed. They didn't provide any noticeable heat, and the weight of the D batteries caused them to fall down to my ankles. I'd recommend sticking with regular socks (two pairs if you need to).
