Comments about Fox River Fingerless Ragg Gloves - Unisex:
These will insulate your hands decently in 40 deg F weather, 30 deg F if you've got warm pockets to stick them in. You can use your cellphone or tie your shoes with them on, as with all fingerless gloves. They do pill up easily and after some usage a lot of loose threads will appear. I'd not wear these when gripping anything abrasive or something that could catch (firewood, devices with small tightly fitting parts like bicycle chains), the weave is a little loose. As an everyday moderately cold weather glove, these are fine.

Comments about Fox River Fingerless Ragg Gloves - Unisex:
Wearing these 100% natural wool fingerless gloves for 8 years makes me realize what a classic they are. I believe they are the best warming, indoor, flexible, therapeutic gloves available.
Completely machine washable on " cold" and dryable, too, they are practical tools for the hands.
After a day of hard hand usage, especially paddling and rowing, or house painting, I rub lotion on the hands, then put on the wool gloves while going about indoor tasks or even sleeping. The muscles, tendons, joints seem to recover faster than anything else I have tried.
Maybe there is still some lanolin in the wool that helps things out?
Also, arthritis is creeping into my joints now and these wool fingerless gloves softly warm my hands all night especially when the house temperature is really cold.

Comments about Fox River Fingerless Ragg Gloves - Unisex:
these are nice gloves, especially when combined with a thinner fleece inner layer glove. That with these on top to add some insulation is a good combination. the gloves are more than average warmth for the thickness. they could be a tad thicker, they don't shed much and are above average quality. they don't absorb water easily, which is a big plus. for the money, you cannot go wrong.

Comments about Fox River Fingerless Ragg Gloves - Unisex:
Though they're not my favorite gloves, they're awesome for what they are- basic and high quality. The wool has been super durable considering my history with other gloves, and frankly they keep my hands so warm I have to take them off frequently. Despite having my fingers available I still can't securely grip things like my dog's leash, but they're still awesome
