Comments about ExOfficio Boxer Briefs - Men's:
My cousins and I set out on an adventure every year. This year we decided to backpack in Yosemite as a warm up, then drive to Mount Whitney to bag that peak as well.We back-packed into Little Yosemite Valley the first day, hiked Half-Dome and Clouds Rest the second day and Merced Lake to finish the distance hiking. We hiked out, jumped in the car and headed to Mount Whitney. We stayed the night in a hotel, woke up the next day and hit the trail at 4am. We were at the top by 11:30am and returned to Whitney Portal by 5:20pm. In four days we hiked 65+ miles and 16K+ vertical feet.I share with you the details because I am a minimalist and only brought two pairs of the ExOfficio boxer briefs. One for the Yosemite portion and the second pair for Mount Whitney. I read the awesome reviews and decided to invest [$] I would of easily paid [$] if I knew they would exceed my expectations. Zero chafe, world-class comfort and a magic material that does not retain odors. I rarely write reviews, but my experience warranted two thumbs up. -Joe

I sweat more than pretty much anyone I know. I'm fit, young, and active, but I sweat like a 1000lb man on the treadmill. I used to always get so annoyed that I couldn't find boxers that didn't get soaked after the first ten minutes of a car ride (yes, I sweat even from driving). These boxers are everything everyone says they are. Not only do they keep you dry for days on end, but they are extremely comfortable. Some people have said that the crotch is too big. I disagree. It is tight in the right areas, but they leave a loose "pouch," if you will, so your can have a comfortable resting place for your boys. I wish I could offer some constructive criticism for the construction of these boxer briefs, but I can't. They're really that perfect.

I can't believe I'm waxing ecstatic over a pair of underwear but this product is unbelievable. I've had two pair for going on twelve (TWELVE) years now and they still look like I bought 'em yesterday. No holes, no appreciable wear or fraying wahtsoever. As a matter of fact I went to REI yesterday and bought two more pair in case Murphy's law applies to me now that I'm doing this review! They are totally comfortable (almost like going commando!) and as others have noted exhibit NO odor even after years of three day camping trips, hiking, biking... you name it. No chafing, they hold their shape and are very supportive. I couldn't be happier with this item and if you are put off by the price my advice is to go ahead and buy 'em... You'll have 'em a loooooong time!

Can't get any better than this. At first, like many others, I questioned myself, "Hmmm [$] pair of underwear, is it worth it?" I did my research and nothing but praise. Here's my experience. Hiking 9K FT. in 4-5 miles with a 50lb pack gets strenuous and these briefs performed a lot better than I expected. They only feek warm since they are very breathable and I feel my body heat wicking out, but they did NOT get wet from sweat. Normally using my regular boxers they would get soaked. These fit very well and the tag on the back does not bother me at all. It's the perfect feel and fit. These did not bunch up or ride up on my whole trip. Now for the next test... "odor resistant". After all that sweating through out the hike, I'm sure the brief gone through a lot of wicking work. So I just wanted to see how it would smell, but I couldn't smell anything foul like wet socks etc.. So what I did was the "ant's" test. Ant's would target my stinky socks. Along with my socks, I took my thermos which had hot chocolate in it from the trip and knowing ants having very sensitive taste glands I rinsed the thermos lightly. Now that I have something sweet ants go for, I used the 3 test subjects and set them down near the ant trail. Came back 6 hours later. I did not see one ant on the Exofficio Brief, majority of the ants attacked the thermos!!I hope those of you that are reading will find this review was helpful and don't be afraid to try on a pair of these boxer briefs.

They are lightweight, supportive, soft and comfortable. I used to wear a competitors similar product, but no more. These stay in place (don't ride up) without being tight on my thighs. I'd use them everyday, if the price were a little lower.

Ok, I usually find it hard to get excited about underwear but this pair is great. I wore them hiking in the mountains for several days and they worked great. They are expensive but if you are backpacking or traveling and only want to take one pair, this is the pair to take. They provide just enough support where you want it without binding on the legs. They are soft and dry quickly as promised. Also they don't retain odors. You won't regret buying this.

I now own two pair, which is all I need for traveling, hiking, backpacking, etc.
If I'm in the gym working out, hiking or just in the office, I am always comfortable. These bad boys will keep you dry and happy even if you're covered in sweat from hours of cardio.

These are the best boxers ever! I've had other moisture wicking, including REI MTS. I've got several pairs of the boxers and boxer briefs. These are simply the best! They're comfortable in hot or cold weather. I like the boxer briefs that are closer fitting. Better for when you are sweating or wearing layers. I've washed them many times, only the tag is starting to fade. While travelling/hiking, I only need two pair. Wash them in the sink and they dry over night. When they go on sale (which isn't often!) replace all of your old underwear and buy them for your wife too!

Would I recommend to a friend, yes, but they are too cheap. The search is over… Do not get me wrong, I went on a shopping spree experiment witch I normally do. The price might sound bad, but the dang close second is Icebreaker is at forty bucks a pair. Sizing, I got medium to thick legs, perfect for the athletic type. Got 3 pair, 6 more is on the way. Treat yourself, dedicate some of that income to better clothing where it counts.

These are great. I bought a couple pair for travel, but now they're in "everyday" use since they're so comfy and breathable. They seem to resist odors, dry very quickly, and feel great next to the skin. I made the switch from cotton to synthetic briefs a few years ago and have many brands. These are the most comfortable I've tried. Can't comment on durability just yet, but I've had 'em for a few months and they seem to be holding up great.
