The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
I cooked these eggs w/ ham & peppers at 10,600 ft on a recent backpacking trip to the rocky mountains. I have to admit I wasn't expecting it to be very good. I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually extremely tasty! It had a nice hammy taste and the peppers added just the right flavor to the eggs and ham.
I boiled the water, put it into a separate pot with the eggs and simmered it for a minute, then let it sit for double the time. I've had to do this in the mountains for everything. It was very easy to make. In fact, It was so good that I'm going to buy a couple more of these just for the days when I am running late for work and have no time to cook. I love these eggs!

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
Having had the Breakfast Skillet and finding that to be tasty and filling, I was highly disapointed by this breakfast. Even allowing a longer time to hydrate the ham remained crunchy in texture, and the overall flavor was so poor that I almost retched. On top of all that it gave me the runs!
I've had a great many of the Mountain House meals this year and enjoyed all but this one. Won't buy it again!

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
Ate this one morning while backpacking. We ate the skillet wrap the previous morning and thought we would give this one a try. Not as good. It came out watery even though I left it to hydrate 4 minutes longer than suggested, also it just didnt taste very good... i mean it was alright, and when you are hungry it will work, but there are better breakfasts. I even tried to wrap it up in an extra tortilla and it still wasnt very good.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
These eggs are among the best we have tried. They are precooked so there is no messy powder and they taste great! We recommend the ham and peppers over the bacon. Following the directions you do get extra water in the pouch after cooking but just drain it out before eating and your golden! Seems to be everyone elses favorite as well because they always sell out quickly as soon as the stores get them in.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
These eggs tasted GREAT, especially on a cool rainy morning near the Cape Fear River. I didn't give them 5 stars because even after cooking per instructions, there were a few "dry" spots, but overall they were very tasty and filling. Just what you want for breakfast!

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
Was on a over night backpacking trip and was very hungry in the AM as the dinner from a Mt House competitor I had was terrible and could not finish it. Expected my breakfast to be just as bad. Boy was I suprised. Found I ate the whole meal and drank the liquid in the pouch and wanted more it so good. Have been eating Mt House products since the 70's.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
I am generally a fan of freeze dried food - it is extremely convenient and usually tastes good.
But avoid eggs! They're like eating old soggy foam, and don't even taste like eggs.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
Very tasty, surpassed our expectations! As I recall the "Let Stand" time was 4 to 6 minutes and we waited 5; I would let it stand the maximum time as the ham hadn't fully re-hydrated. By the time we finished the meal it had caught up.

Comments about Mountain House Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Green Peppers - Single Serving:
Very good flavor, easy to prepare, perfect proportion. I would have given this breakfast a higher rating if not for the fact that even after draining off the excess water, as the directions call for, it is still very watery when you get to the bottom.

We tried this while car camping. It was barely edible, even with the salsa and tortillas we packed. I won't buy it again.
