The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Steel Stake:
I bought 15 of these for my Kingdom 4 + Connect Tech Garage.
They work well, you can really hammer them into the ground! They appear as if they will take a lifetime of abuse and work as intended.
I have recently bought an REI Tent Stake Bag, and it also works well, holds 15 of these stakes and only uses up about half the room in the bag so one could also put guy lines in it or even sand anchors.

Comments about REI Steel Stake:
My boyfriend and I love camping, but we have gone so often that we have needed to replace some of our old stakes for our tent. We bought these because we were looking to get strong, sturdy stakes for when we go car camping, and this have really done the job so nicely! They go into the toughest ground without bending. They are a bit heavy, so if you are looking to buy more stakes to backpack with, these guys are not the right ones for you, but if you love to car camp, and weight isn't an issue, buy these!

Comments about REI Steel Stake:
I use these stakes to hold shelters and tents.
They won't bend even on hard ground.
If you are car camping, makes no sense buying those cheap stakes that will only be good for one trip.
Buy these and you won't regret.

Comments about REI Steel Stake:
I've been through plenty of BSA campouts where I spent a lot of time in a frustrated attempt to drive tent stakes into hard ground. This is the only stake that I've found that doesn't bend or break.
A backpacker/minimalist camper might not choose this model because it is not lightweight, but if you can afford a few extra ounces, then this is the stake for you.

Comments about REI Steel Stake:
Very tough stake that is perfectly suited for family tents and canopies. I have used this stake all summer for a large family tent and canopy and it hasn't failed me! These stakes penetrate all but the hardest ground without bending or giving up the ghost.
You'll need a pretty sturdy device to hammer them into the ground if it is hard.
