Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
I was looking for something to use in the Arctic. Could not find anything better for the same price and quality. A hood would greatly improve this jacket. I like that it is not too flushy and hard on tear and wear. Excellent warmth - Exactly what I needed!

Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
I would love to see a detachable hood of some sort for head protection from the elements. It does however zip into the Varius Guide Jacket (and a few others) - but it gets too bulky to move comfortably.

Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
I have always dreaded outdoor activities in cold weather, however, this jacket has helped changed my attitude and opended up a new world for me in the mountains of beautiful Utah. It is great for snowmobiling, skiing and most important, everyday warmth on the cold winter days. I like how long the sleeves are and how high the soft-lined collar comes up. Thanks NORTH FACE!

Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
I love how toasty warm this jacket makes me on the coldest winter days! I got a medium instead of small because I intended to wear it as a belay jacket for ice climbing (thus pulling it on over layers) and I've never regretted that - it's great to be able to layer on top of a light jacket for a truly impenetrable warmth.
I just wish it had a hood!

Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
All down jackets tend to be bulky but this is a packable one, so not too bad. This jacket kept me pretty warm with two layers when I was in Spain during winter time. One thing that I would like to see on this jacket is to have a hood. The jacket is able to resist light rain. I had problem with feathers coming out of the jacket and asked an [...] staff about this issue. She told me that all down jacket will have this issue (true, happen on my Patagonia down jacket) She suggest me try to rubber around the jacket to make the feathers go back in the jacket instead of pulling it out.

Comments about The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's:
I kept borrowing my hubby's way-too-big North Face jacket, so I got one of my own! I love the warmth and weight (very light). It's a little bulky, but worth it b/c I stay so toasty.

This jacket is an old standard, but not especially suited to the backcountry. Very warm, but fabric snags easily. Great for sedentary winter outdoor activities.

I live in this coat, summer and winter. It has hiked from Mexico to canada with me and to many more places. I wouldn't go outside on a trip without it.
