I'm surprised that other people rated these so well. I bought two pair years ago and took them on several trips. There is so much material that if you wear them with anything other than the baggiest of pants, they will bunch up. Additionally, with all the walking I do, they seem to abrade off the hairs on your thighs and then your stubble gets caught in the weave, which really hurts!
There also seemed to be so much material that sweat would get soaked into the folds and not evaporate on its own.
Also, I found that overnight was not long enough for them to dry, in a not that humid climate, in a warm room, even after wringing them out the night before after washing.
I bought the briefs, and I hope they perform better.

This underwear SMOKES the patagonia. I took this underwear to the sub-sahara area of West Africa and it worked like a champ. All my friends got nasty fungus on their junk and they were wanting to use my ExOfficio's!
I now wear this underwear everyday.

I got these just before I went to Iraq, i have 3 pair and they lasted me 7 months of hard use. Unwashed for days on end they never faltered, they still look brand new and wear like the day they did when I bought them.

Highly recommended for hot and humid climates. Just like the package says, you can just take two pair and wash one pair every night. They dry in a few hours if you leave them near a window or fan. Nothing is this comfortable when you are on a 20 hour plane ride. Wear them as swim trunks when you get to the waterfall, put your pants back on and the boxers will be dry by the time you get to lunch.
Absolutely no complaints.

I bought 2 for a two week trip involving hiking and other moderate activity. I washed each evening in Woolite, wrapped in towel, squeezed out excess moisture and hung in room to dry. They were ready to wear in the morning. I initially thought they would be clammy but found them very comfortable. They are space saving too-great if you are traveling with carry-on only. I am well pleased with this product.

Having tried other boxers for travelling with, these are great. So light they feel that you aren't wearing any underwear! They wash and dry easily. I live in England and even have to import them - they are that good !! If you like the freedom of boxers then these are for you.

They should quit advertising "quick drying". These shorts DO NOT dry overnight especially in a tent unless you are in an extremely arid, high temperature area. In all my mountain, prairie or coastline camping these shorts have NEVER dried overnight. Never. I do however like their odor resistence. But their price is steep

I have three pairs of these shorts and each pair can be worn for three days without having to wash. If you get sweaty you can just wash them out in a sink with a little hand soap and then hang them overnight and they're fresh for another three days. I love having low maintenance stuff. I use these everyday for work, for hiking, for snowboarding, for sports in general. They dry out super quickly and I have never worn a more comfortable boxer. I thought cotton was the most comfortable but these super stretchy boxers have challenged that whole concept. Ex Officio boxers are awesome.
