I use these for backpacking. Hauling loads up mountains can generate a lot of heat and sweat. These do a great job of keeping me cool and dry.

These fit in the waist and legs. The fly works well. They keep me cool when I sleep at night. I've also worn them in hot weather and they help keep me cooler. They wash up well. I've washed them in the evening in they were dry by morning. I like the colors too.

I bought a couplke pairs of these for hiking and loved them so much that they are now all I wear. I have some that are now five years old and show no signs of wear. The elastic is as good as new. I never had cotton show anything like this durability, much less comfort.
As an added benefit, the snap-closed plastic packaging they com in makes a great map case - just the right size for my pocket.

I've seen the less than flattering reviews, but I think they are great. While I probably like the boxer brief style a bit more, these are better for hiking and working out. On the trail or in a hotel these wash out and dry easily, making them great for travel.

Comments about ExOfficio Give-N-Go Briefs - Men's:
I needed quick drying briefs for a 1 week backpacking trip to the mountains of Tennessee. I got three of these. During the trip I was sweating nonstop, but the briefs dried quickly. I actually wore the first pair for three days so that I could save the third pair for my trip home - they did great. At first they looked huge compared to my cotton briefs but they fit perfect. My waist is 35 and I have large thighs as a cyclist. The size large fit great.
I started to wear them to work now that its pretty hot here in PA (100 degrees today) and will probably get a few more and wean out the cotton briefs over time. These are very comfortable and they have noticeably more support than the cotton style.

Bought a couple of pairs for a camping/Hiking trip and they perfored just as they said they would. To stay dry in that region is big, and ultimatly made my trip that much more enjoyable. I now have every color.

Comments about ExOfficio Give-N-Go Briefs - Men's:
Very comfortable. Wear them every day. My one and only problems with these (and other brands like REI and Patagonia) is that before long the waistband just stretches itself out so that they no longer hold up the briefs. This seems to happen over about a three to four month period, even though the rest of the material is holding up fine. Seems to me Ex-Offici tends to last least long, then REI, then Patagonia. Why can't they improve on the quality of the waistband? I'd rather pay a few dollars more for something long lasting that stays put than having loose underwear slide around under my pants, or having to keep buying new ones, especially when there's no REI store for at least a 1,000 miles.

Comments about ExOfficio Give-N-Go Briefs - Men's:
I bought three pair (two black and one green)to use for travel to Europe this summer. Decided I better try them out to see if I liked them and haven't used any other underwear since. They are the most comfortable underwear I've ever owned. To clean them I just wear them into the shower, lather with soap, rinse, and hang to dry on the towel rack. One word of caution: the green pair bleed so I would not wash them in a sink with any other clothing. Amazingly, they continue to bleed even after a couple months of use (I would estimate they have been washed 20-30 times). However, the black ones don't bleed at all; so in the future I'll just stick with black or white. I don't know if bleeding is problem with the blue, but it certainly has been with the green. Despite this one problem, I still give this underwear 5 stars; they are worth every penny.
