    This bottle has lasted me for many years. It has never leaked. It is as light as it gets. It is as durable as it gets. It really is as good as it gets. I never worry about my stuff smelling like fuel. I don't, but I could just fill it up, screw on the cap and throw it in my pack and not worry about it. I too prefer these over the other brand bottles, but I cannot say why. I guess it is because it was the first kind I bought years ago, and I have just stayed with them. Even after sitting in my garage though Minnesota winters and summers, forgotten for 5 years, it performs like it did the first time I used it. I have several now and would buy them again.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I just prefer this container over the MSR. It feels better built. The lid is beefy and makes an excellent seal.
