          Tectron is easy to use and works with Gore-Tex. I have used every waterproofer on the market and this spray works one-hundred times better. Used to waterproof my Simms G3 waders and water beads up better than when they were new.

                I purchased this spray for my soft shell jacket that was starting to absorb water. I followed the directions on the can, and afterward my jacket was indeed waterproof again. The only problem was that it lost its breathability as well, and any sweat I'd work up would stay inside the jacket, leaving me cold and wet and smelly. The writing on the can says it preserves breathability, but I beg to differ. I give it 3 stars, because if breathability isn't a big thing for your particular product, this is probably what you're looking for.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                  My old, but recently refilled down bag, sopped up moisture from the tent walls like a very thirsty sponge. After reading the reviews of other products, I decided to give this one a try. It's easy to apply and after one extended trip I found that it works well.

                      I used Tectron Water Repellent on my wool-felt hiking/camping/hunting/fishing hat. I followed the application instructions to the letter and went so far as to give the hat a third coating. About a week after treatment, I wore the hat in a heavy rain storm and the rain penetrated the hat almost immediately. From my experience, this stuff is worthless.

                          Sprayed a bicycle jacket and two parkas with three coats.

                          Light rain this morning and my shirt was soaked the parka. Cycled home in mist tonight with the bike jacket and soaked under it.

                          NO SIGN of water beading up.

                              I have used this product for many years with excellent results.it is becoming harder to locate. I searched at the local rei,and the competitors stores for this product,and i will order a few cans,even though I just used nikwax on a few snow clothing items.Techtron is like spf for your outdoor items,with the waterproofing as a bonus..
