Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
I had the original version, so i decided to upgraded to the 2nd version. Big mistake! I was very disappointed with the cheap plastic that was use for the resistance. It is very unstable and moves around a lot. i was riding my bike and the resistance kept changing or came off with the slightest move of the bike. i miss my original trainer!

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
I had the original and traded it in for this thinking that it was better as advertised! My original fluid cycle ops was much more stable and smoother. Judging from two other reviews I think there is a problem with consistancy and reliablity with Cycle Ops

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
This trainer easily accepts my road bike, mountain bikes, and my wife's comfort bike. It's easy to switch bikes. If your bike has a none standard skewer, it comes with a skewer you can use (they're easy to switch out). One problem that I think is liable to occur with all trainers is tire wear. Soft compound tires will wear out quickly on it. I buy cheap kevlar tires for use on the trainer and save my more expense tires for the road.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
The unit went out once on me and I called the company and they sent me a new one and a pre-payed box to send the broken one back in and no questions asked. They stand by their product.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
I received my CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer as a gift. The Fluid 2 trainer is constructed of heavy-gauge tubular steel and is 90% assembled out of the box. The assembly instructions weren't very clear, however, since there are few bolts, attaching the resistance mechanism to the frame was fairly self-explanatory. Within 20 mins., half of which time was spent trying to decipher the instructions, my bike (a Trek Y26 mountain bike w/ city slicks) was standing upright in the trainer. The Fluid 2 feels stable and provides a realistic road-like feel. I especially like that my bike can be removed quickly and effortlessly from the trainer with the flip of the cam lever.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
This is my first bike trainer and I was not expecting what I got, I have been biking for about 9 months and am an avid weight lifter/gym goer. I figured that it would be like all other workout equipment, loud and hard to put together. It took 5 minutes out of the box and once I got the feel for where it should be on my bike another two minutes or so to adjust the friction pad. LOVE IT. Also, this is on my mountain bike right now and even though standing up is slightly awkward it is still an easy ride, so this is not just for road bikes.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
I watched a set up video on CycleOps website before I received the trainer so that I would know what I was in for. It wasn't as easy as in the video but was still fairly simple. Once set-up with a block under my front wheel I have had no problems. The trainer seems well constructed and durable,[...] I thought it was too easy to ride at first but that was definitely a wrong impression. Not having to make adjustments to resistance is a great feature.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
After trying various types of trainers (magnetic and wind) I found the fluid trainer to offer the most road like feel of all. It is well built, very stable, and the best part much quieter than other types. Once it is set up for your bike, the quick release is all that moves each time you set up or take down your bike. Enjoy!

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
This trainer is great for riding when the weather is bad. It is quieter than any other type of trainer (magnetic or wind). The resistance is maintained by the gear you are in, just like you are on the road. If you are an avid cyclist than the price is not to bad. The one I bought came with a training CD. You can adjust the training to suit your style best.

Comments about CycleOps Fluid 2 Bike Trainer:
These are really worth the $$$ for the great training benefit. Work great in winter for getting miles in and not losing everything built up over the summer months. Also, great for learning to spin correctly and converting to a clipless setup. What really impresses me about cyclops is the customer service. I bought my fluid a few years ago and had an issue with fluid leakage. This is a problem that they have supposedly fixed. They had me mail them my resistance drum(didn't have to show a receipt or anything). Within 10 days I recieved a brand new unit no questions asked. For the price it is good to know they will stand by the product.
