    I have two of these bottles and they are the best bottles I have ever used. They carry a lot of water and fit many types of filters. The polycarbonate construction eliminates the nasty plastic taste one gets from other bottles. The only problem is that if you are not careful, you can end up with a very wet shirt. Use of a splashguard controls most spill problems.

        I absolutely love these bottles. I have 4 of them. Aside from using them on hikes and for camping, I also use one at work. It can be easily attached to my backpack.

          Nothing bad to say, worth every penny and a must have for any outdoors person. I really like it because my MSR water filter fits right on top and pumps straight in. I love it!

            We used these for water most of our backpacking trip, but they were also big enough to mix a treat. With some dried milk, pudding mix, and freshly filtered water, all you need to do is shake one of these bottles and you have fresh "High Sierra" Chocolate Pudding. It was fantastic.

            This is the standard water bottle for every college student. You virtually can't break it. The weakness of the lid isn't too big of a deal, because replacements are [$]. A [$] splashgaurd will eliminate the spilling as well. Buy it, hydrate, be merry!

            The greatest hand warmer during football games,or soccer,track etc. My kind of drinks. All coffee or teas,cocoa.No stopping at Mickey D's for there puny 16 oz. My 32oz drink tastes better and stays hotter,longer and FREE. Best use a heating pad for your belly wrapped in a thin towel or scarf. Bulky there should be a thinner model. So it stays in your purse and tote bag the less you should repack everything over and over.

            Here's what I love about Nalgenes. First off, they are nearly indestructible. Mine fell off the roof of a moving car and rolled down a huge hill before we pulled over to retrieve it, and it's still kicking. I didn't like the wide mouth at first, but sticking a bendy straw in it completely eliminates any problems, and the wide mouth makes it very easy to clean. The loop top makes packing it easy too, stick a carabiner on it, and clip it to anything.
