The Renegade Swiss Army watch features black on black styling and is made in Switzerland with precision Swiss quartz movement.

  • Features an easy-to-read dial with bold markings on black background and luminous hands, numbers and hour markers
  • Includes second hand with luminous ball
  • Durably constructed with Arnitel polyurethane case and a stainless-steel back; waterproof Arnitel polyurethane strap is perforated for breathability

I love this watch, It goes everywhere I go. But the one thing that hapend was that the plastic on the band wore out and fell apart. I got a new band and its still ticking, with a few scratches. May not be the best watch for physical labor.

I like the watch, it is light and comfortable. However, the first two I purchased flooded cause I took them surfing. Although it did hold up to diving to 100', when I used it as a backup timer to my computer.

Like another reviewer said; this watch is not designed for water sports. I took this on the lake and water got under the glass (SA fixed this).
I commute by bike in cold Michigan winters and the temperature fluctuation resulted in some fog under the glass (SA fixed this too).
Lastly, I bought a new cloth strap from SA and now I love it. I have had this watch for several years now.

      This watch is great! I wear it constantly. I need to use second hand frequently, and require a low-profile watch that is snag-free, easy to read, and durable. I tried all the watches at REI (and elsewhere). The Renegade was the best, by far, and is actually quite stylish, as well! [...] Great for camping trips and outdoor activities. Washes off easily and is very comfortable; I don't even notice I have it on. Best watch I have ever worn. Worth every cent. Perfect!

        I've worn this watch every day for a year. It lasted though my summer wilderness emt training and a winter/spring navigating through thick brush in the northwest with only tiny scratches. I just pulled it out of my washing machine, where it spent 90 minutes getting roughed up and it's completely fine. Great value for the quality.

          The wrist strap / bracelet disengages when you are out on the water. My solution was a twist tie passed through to secure the strap.

          It's nice because it's relatively inexpensive AND it is not made in China which is rare for REI.
