by fromGreat to have on the trail Great book to have on the trail in case of canine injuries. It's small and light enough to pack easily. I haven't had to use it yet, but am always very glad to have it along!

by fromExcellent Resource An excellent resource that is always tucked into my 'dog first aid' kit. It's a very practical book which offers practical solutions to potential problems rather than making the assumption you can get to a vet in a timely manner. I've used several of the tips offered in the book for prevention/treatment of pad abrasions and lacerations. Aside from being easily readable, it has application for every dog owner whether your dog is a park goer or a backcountry companion.

by fromWorth more than the paper its printed on I have had to refer to this book a few times and it has probably saved my dogs life and a few hefty vet bills. A very good reference, especially in emergency situations.
