Comments about Paris Company Glad-A-Boggan Sled:
Best value for the money. Using for the 3rd season and abused well, still in tact.
Great for 3 kids or two adults.
Quite directional than many sleds.
I use it every day along a trench around the house. Since this is very narrow, it fits in the trench well. This is noisier than most rubber based ones and I consider that as a plus in a crowded area so people can stay out.
Very light and even a 2 year old can handle it.
The handle is not obvious for little kids, they like to hold on to the string like they are riding a horse.

Comments about Paris Company Glad-A-Boggan Sled:
This is a review of the sled as it performs in very extreme conditions. I'm a veteran of a sport that involves sledding down the radical terrain of Alaska's mountains in the middle of the night. The slightly disorienting effect of the darkness introduces greater speeds, steeper drops, harder falls, and more air than one is generally comfortable with. The Paris Glad-A-Boggan is the sled that I reach for every year. It's flexible, which means you can bang it back into shape after slamming into a tree. It's corners and molded runners assist in steering, but they're not so defined that you get pitched on a slight correction at high speeds (which happens in almost any other sled I've used on night runs). And the rim of the sled almost never catches in deep snow (other sleds with angled edges for a trendy look will always throw powder into your face). In this sport, this particular sled will splinter into pieces about as fast as any of the others. But I think it's easier to repair than most (I keep a small supply of duct tape in my pocket). The handles may not stay with you long, but the holes that they were anchored into are perfect for running a thin rope across your knees to keep you in the cockpit on big drops. If you're into this kind of fun, this sled will get you down alive. After a few runs she'll start to feel like that trusty horse the cowboy hero always rides in the movies. I give mine names.
