This is the right stuff - forget the ****aids and the other weird colored stuff. Hydralyte gives you the right amount of potassium, sodium and sugars to keep going when you are working hard in a dry environment.
I have been using it for more than 15 years, from the Grand Canyon to peaks in the Rockies to the Sonoara desert and nothing is better.
As with any other sugar-containing drink, make sure you sanitize your equipment as soon as possible after use - a touch of bleach or strong hydrogen peroxide solution does the trick.

It is important for me that glucose is the top ingredient in my sports drink. Originally bought this because cheapest glucose drink in REI - and found this is far better than more expensive sports drinks. It resolves easily and leaves no residue in the bottle. I pack this in small bags and carry when I go on a long bike ride or inline skate. Because it is low sodium, I use salt pills on hot days.

My marathon husband loves it, never makes you queasy. My young kids can drink it daily in lunch packs, or for their cross country workouts to hydrate and recover. It's glucose and fructose NOT sugar and artificial colors so I can drink it too, I'm a lymphoma survivor. Cancer loves sugar so I love that I can drink this as part of my recovery without jeapordizing my health. Go Green - no more plastic gatorade or water bottles - re-use your own container, washes out easy. I recommend it to anyone!

Gookinaid ERG is my favorite cycling drink. Many popular premixed drinks are much too sweet for my taste. Most powders do not dissolve completely. ERG overcomes both of these issues and tastes great. It is sweet enough and has a good flavor so I want to drink it, keeping me well hydrated. It helps me keep going on rides of 2-3 hours and I recover faster after the ride and feel better the next day.

This is the ideal oral rehydration product - it has the right balance of sodium and potassium as well as a moderate amount of dextrose. The taste is not agressive - you know what it is but you aren't saturated with some kind of fake flavor.

I reccommend this product to rescuers in order to maintain proper electrolyte balance along with hydration! It has revived people on the trail, when they have become dehydrated and help support good hydration for rescuers during long mountain rescues. This is a phenominal product. This is the first time I have recommended any food product. We got some when we hiked to the bottom of Grand Canyon in 2005 when it was still called Gookinade. Then we started using it at home. We now use it every week for every major activity. It is unbelievable - especially for extreme conditions like working outside in the Phoenix summer heat of 108. HIGHLY recommend this product.
