A previous review suggested this might be the last ski and pole carrier available. That is simply not true. Search the web or even just REI and you will find options to carry skis or skis and poles that would prove superior to this ski relay model.

This is the only real ski / pole combination carrier left on the market and it is well thought out with one BIG exception. The diameter of the holes for the ski poles is to large and won't hold any pole that has been designed in the last five years (non taper and thin) This carrier comes with inserts to remedy the problem but even that didn't work. If you purchase one, test the poles you have on the carrier first.
