Awesome

I had a horrible reaction to poison oak once. What started as an itchy bit on my ankle turned into so much more. It spread everywhere, from my toes to near my . . .ahem. Fortunately, only near. So near. Anyhoo, the second time I got it, I used Tecnu. I noticed the itching, and started using it. And everytime the itching started to get worse (usually in the evenings for me) I'd shower and use the Tecnu. Not only would it almost completely stop the itching, it prevented the spread of the poison oak. I have a bottle of this with me all the time. I think it would be a pain to use regularly in the field, but so is itching bloody murder all the time. . .

must have for dog owners

i volunteer with the u.s. forest service, building and maintaining hiking trails, and my dog often comes with me. he sometimes brushes up against the poison oak that lines the trails. i am very grateful for this product- i wipe him down with a towel doused with tecnu before letting him get back into the car. i don't have to worry about getting the poison oak oils all over me when i pet him.

This is a great product!

My brother, a geologist and avid outdoorsman, recommended this product because he knew how badly I react to poison sumac (which we have a lot of in Georgia). My response was getting worse over time (at least 2 Medrol dose-paks every time). I haven't had an outbreak since I started using Tecnu. Thanks for a great product!

Clears Poison Oak Rash Fast

I picked this up for my husband after he developed a second poison oak rash from his military gear. His first rash took about 3 weeks to heal and looked pretty gnarly. The second time around, his rash cleared up in about 2 days after using this product. He also used it to clean his military gear to prevent yet another rash from setting in. I cannot recommend this enough for everyone's medicine cabinet.

A must!

I bring this wherever I suspect there may be poison oak. I'm super sensitive to poison oak and I believe that this has helped me avoid at least a couple of cases. Not 100% effective of course but I think it helps!

Bye, Bye poison ivy

If exposed to poison ivy immediately put on cream. It works fast to keep you from getting infected. I strongly recommend this product.

Apply early and often

I recently got poison oak but only realized it 48 hours later and it was too late. Hit it early and often with Tecnu.

Effective

Some wise men on the trail first suggested me to Tecnu, and it has been effective in containment of the irritations. But make certain the product distribution is laid evenly and equally throughout for best results.

POISON OAK CONTROLLED

Reliable and works as directed. Always a bit oily but doesn't stay that way for long. Just generously apply everywhere you believe you were exposed to the Oak/Ivy. May need a couple doses. Use before showering.
