The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
I have used the Camper model of the Swiss Army Knife for over 20 years. I have taken it along on my travels to Europe and Asia and it has proven itself time and again. From slicing bread to sawing a bamboo walking stick--this knife can do it all! Be careful when the knife is new--the blades are extremely sharp!

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
I bought this knife because it had everything I needed in a camp knife, and nothing I don't. As it turns out, the size makes it perfect for keeping with my everyday, not just in my camp bag. I really like wine, so I need a corkscrew, and I figured I'd get this 'till i could save up for a Leatherman Xe6 or Victorinox Champ, but I might not even go that far now that I have this (although pliers would be nice!).

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
I love this knife every time I go camping or hiking I use it. I think the best use of this knife is to whittle with it and to make shavings for a fire. The greatest things about this knife are the sharp blade and the saw. The only thing I dont like about it is that its hard to clean.

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
An excellent knife, like almost all of the Victorinox Swiss Army knives. This one is more suited to camping and outdoors. The climber model with the scissors is probably a more appropriate knife for urban use.
Regarding the review below, the only people who think the saw blade is useless are those who've never used it. The swiss army saw is actually a very capable and useful saw. I've cut through 3 inch branches with ease. Also works great on crusty bread and ropes, cables and seat belt material. Definitely not a gimmick. Give it a try and you may be surprised.

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
As with all Victorinox Swiss Army knives, this is a quality product. Yet, I would recommend getting the Spartan version instead. The Spartan does not have the saw blade, which is pretty useless and just adds weight. (The Spartan is sometimes named the "camper", so there can be confusion.) I have owned a number of different Victorinox Swiss Army knives. As they get lost, stolen, or taken by airline security, I just buy another. I strongly recommend the Spartan, why carry the extra weight of gimmick blades that you will not use?

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
This is a great knife, but I prefer a locking blade. this is practical, but i wouldn't recommend this to a backpacker the saw is kinda bendy, but what can you say? its not like you want to cut down a tree with that thing. this is good for widdling.

Comments about Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife:
At the campsite, my kid finds straight deadfall branches, then fashions them into walking poles. This saw works great for that task... he cuts little branch after little branch after little branch off of the big branch. A good tool for a kid at the campsite.
It's a good tool for him. Effective and hasn't worn out.
I also let him cut all the small Buckthorn trees (invasive) he can... and it goes them them easily.
Rest is all what you expect in an SA knife.
But seriously, who uses a corkscrew when camping?
