For my needs this is perfect. I bought this to hold denatured alcohol for my Mini Trangia set. It's a good size and will hold fuel for a few meals, it's lightweight, and the slim design makes it easy to find a spot in my backpack for it. Plus, the price is right. I think I'll pick up a couple more to have on hand for longer trips. Here's a tip: Before I screw the cap down I squeeze the air out of the bottle, which keeps it from expanding much with heat/altitude variations - I just took it from 300 to 6,000 feet without any leaks.

Holds liquids fine, doesn't get cold like a metal flask. No leaking noticed unless I didn't cap it correctly (user error)... I trusted it enough to keep in my down bag on a -10° night, used it multiple times during the evening and never had a spill or leak. No funky tastes ever, and easy to clean or replace.

We used this flask to carry an "essential supply" on our last Long Trail hike, and it performed admirably. No leaks, although I would advise keeping it in a zip-top bag, just in case.

I bought an 8 oz and 4 oz container and they seemed ideal for the task I had for them. I was very pleased. However quite soon the larger bottle began to split around the upper circumference of the lid. I replaced it but then after a short time the same happened to the smaller bottle. I could need neither afford to lose their contents nor clear up the mess from leaking bottles and so I withdrew them from service.
