Our workhorse for anything from epic day hikes to overnight microadventures, the women's REI Co-op Traverse 35 pack is durable, comfortable and well organized.
- Extended sizing, upgraded fit and continuous torso adjustability support a broader range of body types and deliver on-trail comfort

- Internal perimeter frame balances loads for technical hiking or minimalist overnights
- Hydration reservoir–compatible design features a tube holder on the shoulder strap (reservoir not included)

- Dual-density foam in the hipbelt and lumbar pad is conforming and supportive; the continuous wrap helps avoid hot spots and discomfort
- Generous hipbelt pockets are sized to store a phone and snacks
- Stretch-mesh water bottle pockets are tilted forward for easy access on the go
- Large front stuff pocket lets you store gear outside the pack
- Floating top lid lets you make room for bulky gear, like a sleeping pad

Sternum strap popped off during use!
No, I do not recommend this product
The title says it all. I never moved it on the pack strap, which I was told to do delicately. From the moment I got the pack two months ago, I did nothing but snap the sternum strap together. During yesterday’s hike, while carrying it half-empty, the right half popped off of the pack strap! This is incredibly disappointing. I babied it, and it still let me down mid-hike. Though I can’t in good conscience recommend that anyone buy it, I’m giving the pack two stars because it was incredibly comfortable on the five (yes, just five) hikes that I got to use it. Back to Gregory for me. Now to see if I can get any recompense from the co-op in light of the return policy change (thanks to all who abused it.)

Great mid-size pack
Yes , I recommend this product
I have been really impressed with this pack. Not too big or too small it has been perfect for most of my trips (9-16 days, not hauling a tent) and has held up well. As a broad-shouldered, "well-endowed" woman I really struggled with finding a pack that could match my torso length with appropriate shoulder straps but this pack feels great even fully loaded; the hip belt is appropriately padded. I appreciate the extra pockets and connection points to have access to small stuff without taking the pack off. The included rain fly was nice for wet weather in Iceland

solid and comfortable!
i have many packs (osprey) but for my trip to spain to walk the del norte camino i wanted a new one...i don't typically trust 'store brands' but i liked the way this pack felt in the store...i walked 545 miles in 33 days and gave the pack a real workout while it was loaded with all my belongings...i was rewarded with comfort, toughness and was able to easily remove and reinstall my water bottles...i am so very happy i chose this pack!
