The insolation at the inside of the top of both boots became creased and ready to rip upon wearing for first time hiking (picture attached).

Have hiked in these boots 4 times so far, and I recommend them at this point. I have metatarsalgia and painful feet that are sensitive to rugged surfaces. These boots have been pretty comfortable compared to many I've had. The only problem I have with them is their weight. They are heavy at over 2 lbs. I did put my own insoles in them that I have been using in previous boots.

These boots were comfortable OUT of the BOX! They fit perfectly and were on a 7 mile walk the first time I wore them with no blisters or bruises. I'm truly amazed at the high quality and great look of these. They are durable and everything stated about them. Well worth the price for the comfort and quality.
