Favorite Jacket Ever
I love this jacket! It's very warm without being bulky. There are lots of little pockets for phone, keys, tissues, etc. There is a soft knit sleeve insert that fits around your wrist (with a thumb opening) when you put your arm through the coat sleeve, and it keeps cold air out. The jacket is longer in the back so that when you sit down, your bum is dry and warm. The inside is lined with something that looks like a "space blanket" which is probably what makes the jacket so warm without bulk. I have never had a jacket that I like as much as this one. I have the blue and it's a great color! I originally ordered the Medium and exchanged it for the Small. I am 5'5" and weigh 125 lbs.
Just what we needed
OK, so I can't speak directly to the jacket, as it was a purchase for my daughter. But what I can say is she has been extremely happy with the warmth and comfort of this coat. It has been used exclusively for skiing in VT and so far we've hit mostly cold windy days. The jacket has performed very well and my daughter has stayed warm and comfortable. She hasn't worn heavy layers underneath either, so no bulk but all the warmth. I've been considering this in a men's jacket for myself.
Perfume
Jacket is beautiful and high quality. However there is a very strong perfume odor that has prevented me from wearing it. I spoke directly to Columbia, they suggested that REI added this to the jacket. In any case I am sensitive to perfume and will have to wait to use it . Unfortunate.
Devine drip

The fit is also fantastic, coupled with the cool color, I get a truly feminine look on the ski slopes, making this jacket with matching ski pants a Devine drip.
