Great for use with camp stove
Used the Ignik 3.8# naked tank on a recent month-long camping adventure. Loved the size, weight and ease of use with my camping stove. I'm a 70 year old female and always consider weight and size when purchasing a camping product and this one fit "like a glove". Purchased the 5# Ignik Growler (2023) then saw the smaller model this spring and purchased it when it was on sale at REI. Glad I did. Able to connect to camp stove using the propane hose from the Ignik 5# Growler, avoiding the use of the 1# cannisters. Highly recommend this propane tank.
Small and convenient
Nice compact propane tank. We didn't like the small green disposable tanks and lugging around a 5 gallon tank got too much. This is the perfect size and easy to transport and it is refillable at any place that has propane.

Bought this growler for a trip to Joshua Tree. I had it attached to my camp chef for the weekend and it worked like a beast. This is a perfect alternative to the green bottles and it's just small enough to fit in with everything else.

Great for weekend adventures.
This growler fits my needs perfectly. Size is great for transport and storage and holds just the right amount of fuel for a weekend adventure. Not having to buy 1 lb. green bottles is such a good feeling. Refilling is a breeze and never had any issues anywhere. My only complain is that it does not come with a carrying case like its older brothers. With the proper hose, it works with any appliance that uses the 1 lb. green bottles. Very satisfied with my purchase.
Expensive but if you need this size
I needed one this small to fit in a particular spot on my Jeep and I could not find another brand that sold this size. This is a bit expensive for what it is but I paid for it with REI dividend. It works as well as any normal sized propane tank and can get filled anywhere those can. Definitely nice to not have to deal with the green disposable anymore.
Perfect For A River Kitchen or Car Camping
This tank is perfect for my family. It is smaller than my old tank, which saves valuable space on the raft, and still holds plenty of fuel for cooking over a week-long trip. I have been particularly impressed with Ignik's customer service. They are quick to respond to any questions and go out of their way to ensure a positive customer experience. I highly recommend Ignik products.
Love it
This thing has been great. I use it for my 2 burner camp stove and it has lasted me most of the summer. Doesnt take up much room and holds plenty of fuel. I fill it up at the gas station down the road and hanvt had any issues filling it up, Besides the working laughing at how small it is :)
