Must have in collection

This is an absolute favorite of mine. You won't be disappointed. I use this all the time hunting, and the gut hook is excellent. Notable qualities of this knife are its action is smooth with an audible click, knife is about medium size but not as big as the river, and the color scheme is really classic with the resin wood.

Good Knife

I bought this knife to replace my day to day carry. What I didn’t know about it is that there is a J hook, hidden in the handle. Since I cut cords daily this detail made it 10x more worth it.

I was disappointed when I received this to find that the blade does not stay closed with any kind of clasp or spring mechanism. It opens rather easily, and as a result could easily open in your pocket and cut your pocket or your leg. It would seem the only really Safeway to carry this is in a pouch. I have a much cheaper but very nice CRKT knife with a similar mechanism that locks closed and unlocks only when you press a button and push it open. I wish this had a similar close lock. I will be returning the knife.
