Tight, scratchy, large ugly permanent logo
Absolutely nothing like last years model! My head measurement is 21.75” and this hat feels a bit snug, almost uncomfortably so, and leaves lines on my forehead. The external material is slightly scratchy, so I am finding my pushing it up, to get it off my forehead, but then I get cold and really quite annoyed. I frequently find myself not wanting to wear it. The logo is 1.75”x1.25” and is sewn on with a thoroughly heavy stitching, making it more of a patch that won’t come of w/o damaging the hat. Last years logo was just sewn w/ a simple stitch, making it easy to remove. Last year’s model had a 100% Acrylic shell with 100% Polyester lining, and this year’s model has a 51% Polyamide & 49% Polyester shell with 100% Polyester lining. Laid out on the bed, turned inside out, flattened - last years model is 11”x10”, and this years is 12”x10”; the extra 1” on this model is on the cuff, making it so that the shell is what’s touching/scratching my forehead, not the inner lining. Also, this model is noticeably physically heavier, but is not warmer than the hat I bought last year. I really just want to return it.

Warm and cozy, extremely soft. We’re living without heat and I haven’t taken it off in three days! I could do without the big ugly North Face logo, but so far I’ve just turned it to the back. My husband just put it on and desperately wants one

I’m so impressed with this beanie. Very thick. So soft inside and out. Doesn’t mess up my hair either!
Cozy, snug, warm
Warm double layer on ears. It has great stretch and pliability so it stays snug around my narrow face, where too many other hats let wind sneak it. It’s my favorite winter hat for comfort and warmth. TNF logo patch is obnoxious. I turn it to the back.
