A well-built, ultra-light-ish quilt perfect for overnights in hot, humid areas. I have taken this quilt out for a couple overnights in the backcountry now, and have been pleased with its comfort and overall durability. I think Sea to Summit did a good job balancing ultra-light qualities with good construction and affordability. Other quilts might pack down smaller, but I’d personally rather have something that’s built a bit tougher so that it can hold up to heavy use. The temp rating felt accurate—one night dropped below 50, and I felt a bit chilled—and pleasant for summers in the Northeast. This is now my go-to bag from June through August!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what I was looking for! I wanted a 3 season sleeping system and I am a very active sleeper so I often get tangled up in sleeping bags. I got this quilt after reading lots of reviews and am not disappointed, It is light but warm (though I have only used it once). I think that I now only need a "big pillow case" to go over my sleeping pad to complete my camping sleep.
