I bought this for my Q 1200 some months ago, thinking I’d use it just for pancakes. Well, I find that I am using it for most everything: to make peppers and onions on while I grill the sausage, fish, whatever. Bravo Weber !

Sturdy, heavy duty and easy to clean! Once it cools down fits right in the sink in our camper. Big enough for 4 to six slices of bacon. Should last forever!

Griddle for Q1000/1200 gas grill

I didn't realize that the griddle covered only half of the grill surface, but I now understand that it would cut of too much oxygen if it was larger. I've used it for fish, sliced squash and it's the perfect surface for resting a rectangular pizza using a pre-made pizza shell to keep it from burning over the direct flame. I have to be careful about placement. If too close the sides, the top won't close. Might be better if the raised perimeter was slightly higher to contain juices or small pieces.

Good product, small surface (NOT FULL GRIDDLE)

It is a good product, unfortunately before purchasing it, it is not very clear on the text or the photos of the product that it is only for half of the surface of the grill and not the whole grill to convert it into a full griddle (or I could not find that info). I hope in the future they will design a whole surface griddler to convert the Q 100/1000 grill into a full griddle. As it currently is, I feel the surface is too small to cook on the griddle for 2-3 people at the time.

We purchased the griddle as an extra attachment for our grill. We use our grill exclusively when we go camping as t fits perfectly in our storage. The griddle attachment comes in handy for cooking our morning breakfast foods such as eggs, bacon, sausage and our grandkids favorite pancakes. It has enough surface for what we need, is not heavy like some griddles, is easy to clean and fits right in our storage area for when we need it again!

I bought two of these so I could cook a couple of eggs on one side and bacon on the other side. What they don't tell on their page or on the box is: DANGER the use of two griddles side by side could cause burners to go out and can result in a built up unburned gas which could suddenly ignite, causing a fire or an explosion resulting in serious bodily injury or death as well as damage to property. This little griddle is money. Can slap six slices of bacon on it and have a decent morning. The extra grease goes through the slots and rolls down the side without trashing your BBQ. Clever design. Frying three or four eggs after the bacon is effortless. I’ll probably do it again tomorrow. The only problem with this griddle is the punishment it lays on my six-pack.

This is a great device for my baby Weber (I think I have the Q1100). I like how it converts only half the grill, so another one would make nearly a full skillet. One side is flat, the other has the ridges. I also like how they nest inside the grill; you can leave these on the grill with the lid closed. We've used it a couple times and it's great.

We absolutely love our Baby Q as we have wanted one for quite a while and with having to isolate it was the perfect time to purchase one.It gives us so much variety with our meals thus not having to leave home more than necessary.We found that the dvd guide was so helpful to be able to utilise many ways to cook on our Baby Q.WE LOVE IT.
