Great bag - nice looking and certainly comfortable. Did a 9 mi pretty strenuous hike with this on, packed to the gills, and hardly noticed it was there. Love the large bucket-style opening. It makes packing and pulling things out easy. The reservoir fits in nicely without compromising the usable space. The somewhat concealed pocket on top is a great feature with thoughtful placement (nice knowing it's a bit hidden when traveling), but I might suggest also adding an internal mesh pocket just inside the lid for easy access to keys, maps or food. Wish the waist and sternum strap excess/slack was secured with some compression loops or bands. Perfect size, and while not a commuter bag for laptops/files etc, this certainly serves more than one purpose.
Purchased a month ago in order to upgrade longer hikes with my partner. We typically use this at 1.5-2L capacity when going on 10+ mile hikes and it works perfectly. Only negative is a plasticky taste that lingers for the first few sips. Fairly lightweight and the multiple pouches are a big plus. Would recommend if you can get over the plasticky taste for the first few sips.
I've used this pack for a variety of things from jogging home from work with computer and tablet inside to lugging toys to the beach. The hydration system is excellent, especially the sternum strap and magnetic bite valve attachment. The main compartment is large and easy to access, and the mesh side pockets are versatile as well. The only tradeoff to consider is that the pack is frameless and the Airscape backpanel sits right on your back which can be a problem on hot days. If you want a pack with an internal frame and the Airspeed suspension that keeps the pack off your back, consider the Stratos 24.
Got this pack for day hikes 10 miles or less. Carry a hammock jacket tracking poles book snanks and so much more room .its a great size. Wish it came with a built in rain guard like some of the other. I would definitely recommend this pack
I bought this about 1.5 months ago and I took it on about 5 14ner hikes. It’s a good hydro pack but while the size is good, the design of the pockets aren’t the greatest. Only one main compartment with a tiny pocket on top that can barely fit anything. Side pockets are good for bottles only; anything small enough and you risk losing it. Lost my phone on a hike due to the hole in both side pockets...not sure what that’s about. Plus the bladder always leaves a plasticky taste in the water which is kinda annoying.
Taken this through the rain, snow and hot sun. It’s probably the best day pack I’ve own.

No biggie. Wish the waist and sternum strap excess/slack could be secured with some compression loops or rubber bands. Perfect size, and while not a commuter bag for laptops/files etc, this certainly serves more than one purpose.
Great hydration pack and pricing, 2.5 L pack is useful along with enough space in the bag to fill up with other necessities while hiking. Poles are held easily with little to no trouble while walking and water spout with magnet is very useful.
Videos of this product showed a built-in raincover, but they must've nixed it. If this had more compartments, it would be perfect, but it's really a glorified stuff sack.
Great pack! Comfortable to wear all day. Just the right size for a day event.
