Kammok Python Straps is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hammock straps around I purchased the python straps after a camping trip in the early spring didn't go as quite planned. The straps that I was using (straps that were supplied with my non-Kammok hammock) couldn't reach around the trees where I was planning to setup camp. After some lashings with the straps and paracord I was able to get my hammock hung. Once home, I started researching to find another method to hang my hammock. I couldn't be happier that I found these. Each strap, being 10' long, I have yet to find a tree too wide to hang from and the bar-tacks make for infinite adjustment possibilities for the perfect hang. Also, these are made from polyester which means that they will not rot after it rains and you will stay in place all night (look up nylon straps and stretch). Thank you Kammok!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Hammock Straps I've Used Yet I've been using these kammok straps for a little over a year and a half with my hammock on a variety of trees and poles with no trouble whatsoever. I use them at least 2x a month and they don't stretch and are plenty long for extra reach with lots of connection rings to adjust your hammock as needed. I've tried the SlapStraps and Amazonas but they would stretch and sag after short periods of time and it drove me nuts. These python straps leave little to be desired and are worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Versatile You can use this on trees over 20 feet apart, trees that are around 3 feet in diameter, and everything in between. If you don't your slack hanging, you can just wrap around the tree more. So many options and you will never come close, you will always be right on!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hiking without the weight of a tent I bought the hammock and straps after hearing good things about the brand. These straps are great and allow you set you hammock at a variety of different tensions. Easy to use and pack up super small into a stuff sack. I take the straps and hammock with me whenever I go backpacking. Great product, would purchase for a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for Hammock-ing I just got these straps for a trip to the Boundary Waters (BWCA) in Minnesota. They were a perfect addition to my hammock. It was great to get to camp and throw these straps around a couple of trees and have my hammock ready to go. In the past I've used river straps to hang the hammock since I've always had a few extras around. I was surprised at how easy they were to seutp and the span they allow from tree to tree. The straps were soft and plyable. I know that doesn't really mean much, but some of the others out there are more rigid and don't pack as small when just thrown in the sack. I liked them enough that I'm gonna pick up another pair for my wife's hammock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Straps I'm a new "hanger" and am in the process of putting together my hammock set up. I went between these and ENO Atlas straps. I choose these due to the added length and greater weight rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for protecting trees I used to use ropes to tie my hammock to trees, and to my fence at home. I was noticing that my fence post was getting damaged by the ropes. The next time I went hammock camping, I looked closely at the tree when I removed my ropes, and notice that the bark was damaged where my ropes had dug into it. So I cast about looking for an alternative, and Kammok appeared via a Google search. I bought a pair of Kammok Python Straps and the damage my hammock causes to my fence and to trees has been significantly reduced. To truly be environmentally friendly with your hammock tree straps, include some extra twigs and branches inside the portion wrapping around the tree to help take the pressure off the bark. I have heard that some jurisdictions have banned hammock camping for this very reason, so it behooves you to pay attention to this detail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make your friends jealous too! I have many friends with other brands of hammocks, and these straps make them green with envy! This past weekend, a few of us took a short backpacking trip, and the only trees for hanging that we could find were rather large in diameter. Their measly little ropes weren't long enough to make it around the trunk. Luckily some sloppy camper left a small section of rope behind so they were able to finally get their hammocks up. Meanwhile, the Python Straps could have made it around these trees at least twice. The only gripe I have with them are the labels sewn on the inside and outside. Over time, tree bark really starts to shred the nice look of these. Performance isn't affected though...they'll still grip like a constrictor!
