The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated2out of5byDMJfromReturning this Garmin also!I purchased this forerunner 220 in December after my Garmin 210 decided to die after 6 months. Since getting the 220 I noticed it presented me with invalid calorie count information. On a 14 mile activity, it will show me as burning 240 calories, at 98% Avg HR, which is WILDLY inaccurate, should have been more like 600+ calories. Even the 210 gave me better results. I've done everything, including trying for 3 weeks to work with Garmin to no avail. I'm returning this watch to REI (Thank goodness for REI's policies), and will NOT be purchasing a Garmin product again.
Unfortunate since I was happy with most everything else the watch offered, but a simple calculation (that people are complaining about all over the internet) should be an issue garmin fixes immediately!!!

Rated5out of5byrebekahhope87fromI'm in loveI LOVE this watch. It is accurate and picks up the signal quick! It is pretty easy to use. The only down side is that there still seems to be some bugs as far as connectivity with the iPhone app and Garmin Connect. The website has been down a few times in the short time I have owned the watch. But if you are patient and wait it out a day or two the issues usually resolve themselves.

Rated4out of5bykdev0rfromIt really is a coach!I have been running for about three years. I purchased this watch to replace my Nike+ GPS watch. I was torn between this model and a couple others. After reading some in-depth reviews on this watch (as well as the 620), I felt this would more than meet my needs, giving me the opportunity to take advantage of other features as I improved. In addition, I knew Garmin Connect was getting a face-lift that would make it a little more aesthetically pleasing (which can't be overlooked, in my opinion) which was one reason I hadn't gone with Garmin in the past.
So far, the main greatest points I can give over other products in the same price range are that it has an internal accelerometer (no more footpod!) and it measures cadence.
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a long-term watch from beginner to high-intermediate runner.

Rated4out of5byVeganRNMegfromGreat Running WatchLove this watch. It's easy to use, accurate, and stylish as well. Have received lots of compliments on how it looks. Works great for running, run/walking, and for use as a general watch. The only downside is that the watchband gets dirty very easily. I've only had the watch for less than a month and the band is already getting dirty from rubbing against things. Overall a great watch.

Rated5out of5byLivesimplecoloradofromLoving itI have to say that it was difficult retiring my 305 but it was time to go. One of the reasons I resisted was that I saw so many mixed reviews on the previous Garmin products. Several runner friends complained of poor battery life with the 410 and other issues. But when this came out I knew I had to have it. I have used it for a total of about 12 runs and so far I love it. It is accurate, easy to use and of course really cute. I love the large face and the fact that you can actually wear it as a watch for up to 6 weeks. It is very comfortable and tracks a signal almost immediately. Another feature that sold me on it was the battery life, this one will go for hours during long training runs without a problem. I am not a huge techie person so the fact that all I have to do is basically press a button and go is awesome. I have only used the heart rate a few times but so far it appears to be very comfortable. I have had other HRM that slip and slide during a run or cause chaffing. So far this has not been an issue. I would totally recommend this for any casual runner or experienced marathoner. Great training tool!

Rated5out of5byMalzabareafromJust perfectIt has been perfect. It was my first upgrade since the 405 five years ago. This one is awesome. It doesn't glitch out in the rain. Battery life is amazing and it seems to be really accurate.

Rated4out of5bylgunalfromSo far I am really loving thisI use this to track my distance and pacing when I run, plus my heart rate. I really like how easy it is to use and how easy the data is to see when I'm running. My only tiny complaint is when I stop moving my arm to check my progress say for heart rate to make sure I'm in the right zone, it shows up later in the reports on the Garmin Connect site. My cadence graph has huge ups and downs, which make is look like I stopped running for a moment even though it was only my arm that stopped moving. Since I don't have much experience with this level of fitness monitor I'm not sure if that is a common issue for all of them or unique to this one.
