Rated1out of5byfromDid not WorkThis item did not work when I unpacked it. Tried to follow instructions but could not get the GPS unit to turn on. Returned it to REI. In the future, I will stick with Garmin.

Rated1out of5byfromDissapointedGot it as a gift from my wife. Very dissapointed with the product. We tried it multiple times on two different continents and GPS would never engage, so basically we were stuck with a stop watch with horrible battery life (even after you turn off the GPS function). We returned it last week.

Rated2out of5byfromA good idea, but...The GPS would rarely link up with the satellites, which defeated the reason why I bought this.

Rated2out of5byfromPoor GPS accuracyAfter many years of Garmin watches I decided to try a new brand, mainly because I'm unhappy with the gimmicky touch screens that don't work well. This timex seemed to fit the bill, but after using some it became obvious that the GPS wasn't reporting the same distance as my old Garmins. I did a test on a well marked trail, confirmed with Google maps, and after 13 miles the Timex was off by just over 1 mile (one mile short). I've sent email to Timex but no response.

Rated5out of5byfromA training tool with styleI've been running with a 30 lap Ironman but recently took the leap to GPS and am glad I did. I find my tempo runs to be much more effective and in general, knowing I have the feedback of heartrate and pace pushes me more in my regular runs. The watch fits my wrist well and is comfortable. I've had no issues syncing with my Garmin HR monitor (used in conjunction with my bike computer). GPS was slow the first time to connect but have not had issues with it connecting on any subsequent runs. Screen was easy to read and it was pretty intuitive to navigate the menus and setup my screen preferences. Battery life seems good as well.

Rated3out of5byfromNot as accurate as GarminLet me say first that I'm very picky with my running gear. So I bought this watch because it looks nice. However, I'm going back to my Garmin because its GPS is not as accurate as Garmin's Forerunner series.

Rated1out of5byfromfalls short of expectationsI liked the sharpness of the screen, and, especially the indigo usefulness at night. The Menu feature was very intuitive. The dislikes was the watches buggy, unreliable software, and slow GPS acquisition.
