Baffin Zone Winter Boots - Men'sis rated4.0out of5by2.
Rated4out of5byDonmofromGood BootI used these the last weekend in February on a couple snowshoeing excursions. I wanted a waterproof boot with light insulation and good traction (I had been using my Asolo Gore-Tex hiking boots).
I've been looking at the Baffin brand online, but couldn't commit to purchasing a pair when my current boots were working fine...but then I found the Baffin half priced at the REI winter clearance sale :)
I don't regret buying these; they have performed well. They keep my feet warm with just a pair of sock liners and wool socks, but not too hot. They were comfortable right out of the box without needing to be broken in. I'm thinking I can also use these on some cooler spring or fall hikes.
My feet stayed dry in the snow, although I haven't had to test them in wetter conditions so I can't vouch on how "waterproof" they are.
Bottom line: no regrets and I'd buy them again...even at full price.

Rated4out of5bydartmoose180fromGood BootsI bought these boots because I needed a lighter weight boot to deliver mail. So far, they have kept my feet warm and dry. This past week, the temperatures have been in the single digits and snowy. The traction has been really good walking in the snow, too. I probably could have used a "Wide" size, as they do pinch my toes a little bit.
