Rated5out of5byfromGreat Boots for EverythingI bought these boots a month ago. I have been wearing Oboz hiking boots loyally for three years. I have had three pairs of the Yellowstones; I went to REI looking to get another pair of them. I assume that OBoz has discontinued that model boot, and the Bridger is their latest model. Wanting Yellowstones and being unable to get them I considered trying a boot from a different manufacturer. In the end I went with the Bridger and I am very glad I did. These boots are the most comfortable I have ever warn. It seems to be there is more room in the toe box than my old boots. I have worn these boots everyday and my feet have felt great in them. The a lightweight as boots go, and the waterproofing seems very good too. As for durability time will tell, but I trust Oboz quality.

Rated1out of5byfromOBOZ Hiking BootsI purchased these hiking boots from REI in Cincinnati with the intent to use them in May 2014 going RIM to Rim at the Grand Cayon. I urban hiked Seattle a couple weeks ago making sure they would be ready for the trip. The boots fit very well, the Seattle rain stayed out too, I was really happy until. The MAJOR issue I had was they are EXTREAMLY Slippery when on wet surfaces, even flat wet surfaces. I would not trust these boots on ANY wet surface.

Rated4out of5byfromA great American product. After looking at many different hiking boots I decided on Oboz. At this price and rating there are a lot of comparable boots, so I gave the edge to Oboz because they are made in the USA. Out of the box they seemed to be well made and from a solid design. I especially liked the speed-lace design, the insole and the waterproof liner. They are comfortable at first wear and easy to lace. I did notice pressure points on the front of my ankle when I laced them to the top (after a 2.5 mile walk to work). For the rest of the week I didn't use the top lacing and was much more comfortable. I gradually increased the pressure on my ankle over the second week and now they can be completely laced without discomfort. Two rainstorms have proven the Oboz to be quite waterproof. Overall, these are great boots for everything from everyday use to moderate hiking. They are easy to put on and take off, they are indeed waterproof and they have taken what abuse I could offer in the weeks I've worn them. They did take a couple weeks to break in, but that's not uncommon. recommended?... YES.

Rated2out of5byfromThink Twice!Bought these boots for a trip to Guadalupe Mountains. Trail had rough switchbacks, loose rocks, roots and uneven trail. The boots offered little to no protection against this kind of terrain. I inspected the boots after the hike and noticed one of the lugs was ripped off. I am planning on returning these boots back.

Rated5out of5byfromExcellent bootsExcellent boots, and great for keeping your feet dry. Would run with my hound in the woods, and no problem with puddles. Excellent ankle support, and great traction.

Rated5out of5byfromBest boots I've ever wornThis is the third pair of Oboz I've owned. They are without peer when it comes to out of the box comfort and fit. I have worn out the soles without even breaking a lace.

Rated5out of5byfromGreat boot. Would reccommend.I had a pair of hiking boots for over 4 years and had a sort of connection to them. I was reluctant to buy a new pair, but am glad I bought this pair. Had them for about a month and half now and I really like them. I was mostly looking for a boot that would last me a long time and I certainly think these will hold up. Ill be going to the backpacking in the Rockies this summer, so we'll see how well they do. So far they've gotten me back and forth to class in the freezing weather and my feet have had little issue. I was told the BDry technology is similar to Gore-Tex in its breathability and waterproofing. Have to say its pretty much the same. The only complaint is that they have little traction on ice and slush. Hopefully that is not the case for hiking trails.
