    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated5out of5byfromLove this jacket!Stylish enough for the office, casual enough for a night out. Very light weight, breathes well and nice big pockets. No bad points

Rated4out of5byfromGreat top layerRecent cold snap with temperatures in the mid-20's and wind; used the jacket with a down sweater and a fleece shirt. With temperature getting into high 30's/low 40's used the jacket and fleece shirt. Selected the product as the size was well suited for layering underneath.

Rated4out of5byfromGreat for activities in cool weatherI enjoy casually cycling around Nashville in the afternoons on my lunchbreak or on the weekends with my kids. I got this jacket to help cut down the wind in the cooler temperatures. I'm not a fan of the typical biking clothes and I wanted something I could use when not riding a bike as well. So far this jacket has done what it claims. I've worn it on rides with temp ranges from 30-55 degrees. It keeps the wind chill off and is sufficiently warm for these temperatures. It breathes enough to keep you from overheating. One thing that might improve the jacket would be to have pull-strings or elastic on the cuffs so you could cut down on the air coming up the sleeves. This might only happen when cycling, and since this isn't supposed to be a cycling jacket then I can't complain too much. There are times when the jacket's collar takes some convincing to stay down. This might be by design, however, to shield your neckline from the wind. Overall, it's a great jacket for the money. I plan to continue using it on bike rides, walks and hikes in cooler and windy weather.

Rated5out of5byfromComfortable and breathableMy wife says it looks like I joined starfleet academy, but I like the look and feel. The first time I put it on it felt a little strange/tacky from the liner, but after wearing it for a little while that tacky feel is gone. I purchased this as I was looking for something for hiking in that would be breathable and it worked well on the first hike. After using it I wear it in place of my old windbreaker for more general everyday use.

Rated4out of5byfromGood All Around Throw OnHave only worn this a week-- but I can tell you that 1. It's warm but breathes, not to hot for a "cool" Northern California day. 2. It looks good. I like black. It improves my figure. 3. Very lightweight. 4. Lots of pockets. 5. Not sure how its going to last, but so far, so good. 6. Synthetic rubbery interior was weird at first, but now I like it because I see how well it regulates heat, breaths but still is an okay windbreaker.

Rated4out of5byfromGreat jacket, but think about downsizingI primarily use it for general wear but will use it for cooler/windy weekend trips. For a jacket that has wind resistance/proofing, you can't beat the price. Only downfall is the size. I am always a medium and when I change size, I go large, but with this jacket I had to go small. The small still provides room underneath for a couple thin layers and an overall fit in the sleeves that is more true to human size.d
