Rated5out of5bySoozie-qfromHoka One One Bondi B 2I was a bit skeptical when the shoes arrived and I saw how thick and large they were. I was surprised as to how light they turned out to be and since I prefer a larger toe box the fit was great. I took them for a 10 mile run and at mile 7 started experiencing knee pain. I have run twice since then with absolutely no pain so maybe I just had to get adjusted to them. These shoes do make you strike more on the front of your foot not in your heel. One of the girls in my running group commented on my form and then my shoes, stating she noticed my form was different. I love these things! My feet are not tired, my form is better and I have no hip or lower back pain. My group called my shoes ' flubber' because they are quite thick but who cares- I 'm passing them!!

Rated5out of5byBgreboskyfromWorth the swapI have worn asics nimbus running shoes for over 10 yrs and got talked
into these very ugly shoes. They are so far (1 month of 30 plus mile weeks) great -
Cushy and good support. Took a bit to adjust my stride to this platformy feel but I think I like them more than the asics! Size down 1/2 size

Rated5out of5byMel the health nutfromHoka for hurt runnersI bought these Hoka's after spending 6 months wlking in a pair of minimalist shoes which resulted in constant, nagging right knee pain. I injured my right knee 8 years ago snowboarding and had surgery for multiple meniscal tears. (Prior to my injury I was a distance runner and triathlete.) I have not been able to run without pain since and thought that my running days were over. After wearing these Hoka's for about 1 week I was able to walk without pain in my knee. After about 2 weeks the constant nagging pain in my knee that was there for months wearing the minimalist shoes resolved! I have even been able to start short jogging intervals without my knee hurting! I bought these shoes in hopes that I could return to walking without pain and the result was they gave me hope that I may actually be able to run again! My next pair of shoes will definitely be another pair of Hoka's!!! FYI-I did have to order a half size smaller than I normally do. I usually wear a 6 1/2 and a size 6 in the Hoka One One Bondi B2 fits perfect.

Rated5out of5byMailmanoramafromPerfect for long runsThese shoes live up to the hype about the superior cushioning. After my first half marathon my feet were incredibly sore, especially the balls of my feet. In fact, my toes had gone numb. I then began the hunt for cushioned shoes with lots of room in the toe box. After trying (and returning) several different pairs, I bought the Hokas. Right out of the box I wore them on a 10-mile run. Amazing. My feet felt fantastic afterwards - tired but not sore and no numb toes. I ran on both trail and asphalt although mostly trail when it was available. Since then I've used the Hokas for all of my outdoor runs. They're wider and bigger than my other running shoes that I wear on the treadmill - definitely not a sock-like fit for my narrow feet. However, I adjust the laces so that my heels are stable while my toes aren't cramped and have all the room they need. And the shoes are super light despite their bulky look. I'm looking forward to running in them at my half marathon race!

Rated5out of5byrockerchicfromI can run longer with these shoes!I've suffered from knee tendonitis and shin splints for many years and have not been able to run consistently without injury. I've been hitting the gym harder and mountain biking to help with knee strength and finally have been able to run, but just a few miles at a time. With these shoes I'm able to increase that distance and WOW are they comfortable. You hardly feel the ground in these as they absorb a lot of the impact. Worth every penny in my case.
