Rated4out of5byfromDoes what I need it to doI will use the Helio Pressure Shower when I go remote camping in the desert. Tried it out at home in and it had good pressure, good capacity and gave me my expected results (i was able to take a shower and wash my hair). One thing that needs improvement is the fill cap. The folding cap is a real pain...a screw on cap would be much better. Thats why I rated it 4 stars.

Rated4out of5byfromGlad I bought itI bought this shower for autumn camping at the beach. I wanted to have WARM water to rinse off after a swim in the ocean. Helio definitely delivered that, and it was great even for washing long hair and not freezing in an 8 knot breeze. Helio was also useful back at camp where I could sit and rinse the sand off my feet right next to my boots. I also used it to rinse dishes (not to sterilize, duh). Its a great concept, especially when you find yourself with nothing from which to hang a solar shower. It packs up compactly and is ready to use once out of its envelope. Its a little tricky to master burping the Helio, which is necessary given the maker's instructions that the reservoir should not be kept under pressure. Keeping it inflated but not under pressure definitely improved the heating of the water. I kind of wish it had a shoulder strap, which would make it a little easier to tote once its full. I ended up just bringing water to it in an empty water jug, but it does take a while to heat up, so make sure you fill it before you mummy up. my quibbles with design notwithstanding, I am really glad I have it :0]

Rated5out of5byfromBest shower system out there!I love this shower! Can't believe that I waited until the end of camping season to buy this. Nothing beats a shower at the end of a hot day. Fill this up after breakfast and let it sit in the sun all day. It will be plenty warm to take a shower before making dinner. It stands up right, so you dont have to find a place to hang it. The pressure is good and only needs a few foot pumps to keep it up. The hose is pretty long and the spray nozzel is basic. Its a little tricky to fill the container, I recommend getting a funnel. It holds almost 3 gallons, enough to get two full showers out of it. When you're done, make sure its dried out and fold it back down into the carry case. Its nice and compact. We loved this!

Rated5out of5byfromVery cool gadgetJust received this product today and I'm giving it 5 stars because it is awesome and because no other outdoor companies really have anything like it. I have not field tested this yet but will be taking it to Colorado in a few weeks and will have an update after I get back. I did fill it up a couple of times in the house to test it out. The quality of the construction seems very durable. The pressure of the water is very good and the length of time seems more than plenty to take a good shower in the great outdoors. With that being said, there are a couple of things I noticed right off the bat that could be enhanced to make this thing just a tiny bit better. First of all, filling it with water is not a terrible task, but a little awkward. The strap is very close to the hole at the top (this is because the strap helps hold the valve tight when pressurized) and can be a little difficult to fill from anything other than a garden hose. I think a "screw type" valve would eliminate the need for the strap to be so close to the top and would allow for more flexibility when filling up. This would also prevent the tiny spurts of air leakage out of the top valve when it is lightly pressed. The only other thing that could be enhanced in my opinion has to do with the way that it is stored in its carrying case. The sprayer hose neatly coils around the inside of the base whereas the foot pump kind of folds in, kinking its hose. I guess if any piece of this deteriorates over time, this would probably be the first to go just because of the extra stress put on that portion of the hose when stored. The good thing is that it seems like the hoses could potentially be replaced if that ever happens, and hey, I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is awesome.

Rated5out of5byfromPerfectPerfect! I've had cheap hanging camp showers that rely on gravity for water pressure. After the nozle on the last one locked up while I was standing there in the bare all lathered up with soap, I threw that one out and found this one. Love that you don't have to find a way to hang it also! It even compacts down and stores in a smaller footprint than any other camp shower I've seen.

Rated5out of5byfromPerfectOnce or twice a year I camp without hookups and no campground showers. I found an easy workaround that I'm happy with, which may be appealing for those who are nervous to make permanent mods to their campers. I used the following to create a dinette seat shower that is completely portable and free standing: 1)1 large storage tub to stand in 2)2 standard shower curtains with rings 3)2 tension rods 4)1 Nemo Helio Pressure Shower 5)1 tea kettle for hot water The key here is that the Helio pressure shower does not need to be hung in the air like most bag showers do. It sits on the ground (or any flat surface) and has a foot pump that adds air to the container, which generates the pressure that forces the water out of the shower hose when the handle is pressed. You can EITHER leave it out in the sun to warm it up, or you can simply add warm water to it when you fill it (thus the tea kettle). I place the tub between the seats (where the table goes). I use two tension rods running curb side to street side and hang the shower curtain from the tension rods. Two curtains combined will make a square plenty big that completely encloses the showering area. I place the Helio pressure shower either in the storage bin with me, or on the dinette seat (cushions removed). Pump it up to build pressure, then shower away. Washing hair and body and a good rinse puts an inch or two of water in my tub. When I'm done, I pour it down the sink into my grey water container. Everything packs back down into the tub along with towels and other items for storage. The Helio is also great for washing dishes, bikes, dogs, kids, etc. I had removed my fresh water tank to opt for more storage, and this allowed me to have a warm shower with no hookups and no permanent changes to my camper. I found it to be very well made and extremely functional.

Rated5out of5byfromQuality productBought this for this years Burning Man (2013). I haven't actually used it in the field yet but I have tested it at home. When I first pulled it out of the box I thought, 'Doesn't seem like much for close to a hundred bucks'. Thankfully after inspection and a trial run of the shower I found the price justifiable. It's heavy duty and very well made. On top of that it works perfectly. Left it out in 70* sunshine and it warmed up in about 2 hours. This is a good quality product that I can definitely recommend.

Rated4out of5byfromSturdy BuildThis is very sturdy the fabric is tough and durable. The shower does a nice job of maintaining pressure. It only takes a couple pumps to keep it going. It has a sturdy base and stays upright on uneven ground. My only complaint is the gray foot valve is very tough to open and it will be damaged over time so I am keeping it open. I didn't get directions with mine, open the gray foot valve and pump it with your foot. I think it will be much easier than trying to find a place to hang a shower. Packed it is about 6.5 inches high by 8 inches in diameter
