Rated5out of5byHikingmtnfromGreat productThis product has a strap to put around your wrist so you don't have to hold on to the glove if you take it off. This is a great feature and makes it easier to take the glove off and not worry about dropping it. The gloves are also really warm. I am always cold and have poor circulation and can't complain since using this product!

Rated4out of5byPrima-Outdoor-DonnafromGreat design for easy on and off!I purchased these gloves to replace a pair of Black Diamond gloves that were at least 10 years old and were no longer water resistant :-(
I was excited about some of the new bells and whistles offer on these that my older pair did not have.
The loops at the cuff make pulling them on extremely easy! Even once one of the gloves is on and dexterity is slightly limited the loops made a big difference. Hands down, this is is a great design!!
Another great feature is the glove leash. I haven't had this on my ski gloves before and it comes in super handy when waiting in the lift line where temps can be warmer or while on the lift itself when you find you need something from one of your pockets.
These gloves only let me down when the temps fell way, way below freezing. They are rated at 10 degrees and they did a great job right down to that temp. Unfortunately when the temperature fell to 0 degrees (wind chill -11 degrees) hand warmer inserts were a must. In the end this wasn't a deal breaker for me since skiing on the East Coast doesn't come with too many sub-zero days.

Rated4out of5byLaurenBfromwarm and comfortableI've used these gloves about 6x now while skiing.
They are comfortable and my fingers never get cold (temps have been from 25'-35').
My only wish is that they had a removable liner.

Rated1out of5byTruthtreasurerfromDidn't keep my hands warm...I wrote the company before purchasing these explaining that i was looking for a warm glove to wear while commuting on my bicycle during the winter that would work down to ten degrees. They wrote back "The Northback are a part of our Sidecountry line and feature a high dexterity finger and palm construction that could be used for cycling purposes in such colder temps."
I wore them once commuting and my hands froze at the beginning of the ride which was downhill - and even though I got a medium (and according to the chart I was the smaller size for the medium!) the fingers were short and there was a webbing effect which made shifting gears a little difficult.
I even tried wearing them on a cold day just walking in my neighborhood, because these come so highly recommended I thought perhaps I'll just use them for walking... but my hands again got cold!
The staff at my local REI have recommended these as very good gloves - and I read all the reviews before purchasing so maybe my experience is unique. But I was really disappointed and returned them (thank you REI for your excellent customer service that makes this possible!). I may try a larger size and use wool inserts. I'm still debating...
