by LittleChihirofromVery comfortableI have used this on runs ranging from 2 - 4 hours. I love that it doesn't chafe and is easy to drink from while running. The small pockets on the shoulder straps are easy to get to also. My arms aren't very flexible, so I have difficulty reaching the small back/side pockets without removing the pack. Also, the main pouch zipper doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the pack and that makes it difficult to manuver the water pouch into place. Else, it is easy to clean and the closure system is quick and works well. No leaking!

by UltraKellyfromEXCELLENT hydration packI absolutely LOVE this pack. I am an aspiring ultra-marathoner who has run marathons and 50ks and currently working up to a 50 miler. This pack has been PERFECT for all of my runs from 2 hours to close to 7 hours. It sits really high on the back and is SUPER stable. This pack will NOT bounce if it is set up correctly. As with any hydration pack, care must be taken when filling the bladder to remove any air otherwise you get sloshing, but that is not a problem with the pack because if you take the time to set it up right, it is not there. The little pull cord on the back that helps compress the bladder to your back as you drink the water works perfectly. Take a sip, pull the cord, no bounce. It holds up to 2 liters of water, which for me is typically overkill but nice to have when necessary. I normally only fill it to 1 - 1 1/4 liters to save weight. It does have a couple of nice pockets on the shoulder straps for food or other items. The left shoulder pocket is actually designed for use with a gel flask. I have a Hammer Gel flask that fits this pocket perfectly and is a big help since I make my own energy gel and having this built in is a HUGE plus. The zipper pocket on the Right shoulder holds surprisingly more than you would initially think. I have fit two full sized powerbars in there and it still could have held more. Even with the two decent sized pockets, it could use a little more storage up front. I have actually added a couple of add-on pouches to the straps just below the arms to address this issue and it works absolutely flawlessly (one is a Timbuktu phone holder so I have access to my phone and camera and the other is a Amphipod velcro pouch which is big enough for several more food items) I don't really dock the pack anything for this because it is designed more as a minimal pack and it accomplishes its role perfectly with enough storage to last for several hours which is what it aims to do. One thing I DON"T like about the pack is that the rear pockets are very difficult to access while it is on. I can sometimes manage to pull a pair of gloves out of the pockets but I feel like it is better suited to a contortionist rather than someone who is running on a trail trying to pay attention to not tripping and dying. The pockets are there if you need to store something in them but I would just be aware that they are not super easy access. You may need to stop and take the pack off to access the back. Even with that minor issue, I wholeheartedly endorse this pack as my favorite hydration pack and will continue to be a Gregory fan as a result of my experience with this pack.
