well, I was really excited for these shoes and let me say...what a huge letdown! the reviews were so great! first off, they look nothing like the picture I saw on my computer screen. they look very teal, when in fact they are very Kelly green. maybe it's my monitor but I was really disappointed. the toebox is very wide and the shoes run a bit small so if I had wanted to keep them, I would have had to exchange for a different size. and now to return, I have to pay $10 out of my pocket for S&H!

I wear Vibram 5 Fingers a lot, but sometimes it's too cold and/or wet to be comfortable in them. These Merrells are the best alternative I've found, and they also look more like "normal shoes" for going out with friends. I'm usually not comfortable in athletic shoes because my feet are very wide and square in the front, but my heel is narrow so often slips, causing blisters. These Merrells are the answer for my feet!

These shoes are great for really anything. I am not one to wear tennis shoes except for when running or working out, but when I am traveling I will wear these with everything. I got the black ones just because I want to hide dirt and not draw attention to myself while in other countries. They are so comfortable and have helped with some knee pain I have been having while running. Another great bonus is that there is so much toe room. I have wide toes and narrow heels which makes finding comfortable running shoes difficult, and these are perfect.

Provides just enough cushioning over the barefoot series. Very lightweight, breathable, with wide toe box and sits low on the heel (a must for me.) I would buy these again and again.

I love these shoes, they are comfortable and I have foot problems. I wear them to workout in, walk the kids to school, and to run errands in. They are lightweight and breathable. I am excited to have something that feels so cool especially for the coming summer. I love the way they look too.

I love minimalist running, but I can't run in Vibrams all the time (I run in both Vibrams and Mizuno shoes). I needed something that offered more cushion than Vibrams, but was lighter than a running shoe. These Merrells are the perfect happy medium between the two. I've run for a month now in them, and I have no complaints.
