I bought this item in January but didn't get to use it until March. It tore on my first trip. The airline has made good on the damage and I bought the same item again. I like this duffle very much and hope that the tear was a fluke and not a deficiency in the material. I'll keep you posted.

I've had this bag for several weeks, and in that time have had the opportunity to use it twice, including a week-long trip for my wife and I from Denver to Hawaii. We both packed almost all our stuff in it (you've got to keep some in your carry-ons just in case, right?), and it handily swallowed all the rest of what we needed for the week, including some dress clothes for a business function she had. The bag was stable, not too heavy, easy to roll around the airport, and even good-looking. All in all, I'd highly recommend it as a really good value for what seems like will be a very durable, useful piece of equipment.

I used to love this bag. It has gone with me overseas, it has gone on one U.S. vacation, and has traveled with me back-and-forth to college. It's pretty durable, but, I want to make you aware: the fabric, on the bottom, while thick and rugged, is very hard to clean, and consequently, always looks dirty. The telescoping handle, while still functional, is getting harder to put back into the "not-pulled-up" position. The bag just looks tired and old, and, which is surprising, as it has only been subjected to 4 weeks of traveling and a handful of back-and-forth shuffles. I just thought that the bag would wear a little better, that's all. Now, I'm just embarrassed to use it!
