Comments about Cannondale Quick 4 Women's Bike - 2013:

This is a beautiful versatile all around bike. The paint job, seat design and all around style is great - sporty but chic. As a hybrid bike, it handles more like a mountain bike than a racing bike, with a mountain bike frame and gearing and nimble handling. The seat position is upright and comfortable, with nice padding to make it comfortable, but not to much so it is still very sporty (not the overcushioned wide "ladies" seat).

I'm using it as a commuter bike in San Francisco. It is quick and responsive for fast turns and dodging traffic. The mountain bike gearing lets you drop down to an easy gear for going up steep hills, but still lets you go fast on flats or down hill. It's also light enough for me to pick up easily to get up stairs or over obstacles. The wheels and tires are sturdy and the open spokes make them look slick. They can handle pot holes and going over curbs easily and the carbon fibre front fork makes this pretty comfortable. There's a protective gaurd on the big chain ring to help protect your pants and the low top tube position makes it easy to ride with a skirt. The overall build is sturdy - Cannondale makes great bikes, and while the gear shifting is clunkier than the fancier Shimano group sets, it is solid and very affordable.

This is also a great bike for light unpaved trails and long weekend rides. I'm an avid cyclists - I have fancy carbon fibre racing bikes and sturdy mountain bikes. This is a great in between bike that handles lots of situations, looks great and is very affordable.

I'm very happy with this purchase.
