The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated1out of5byjjkfromUsed to be great, now unuseableI had a previous version of the Adventures pants and they were my favorite pants - used them around town, hiking, even business casual events. They were very comfortable in the backcountry. Unfortunately I lost them, and went to buy a new pair. Luckily I tried them on to find the fit completely changed and there is no size that fits well now - all too tight in the crotch and thighs. Hopefully REI changes back to the old fit!

Rated2out of5byJoe ComfyfromTry the Marmot Torrey instead of new AdventureI have been searching for a replacement for my old REI Adventure pants, that were roomy in seat and thighs. The new REI Adventure pants are too tight.
The Marmot Torrey is a quick-dry, nylon pant that is soft feeling, not quite peached fabric. The Torrey does have a gusseted crouch for extra room, although the thighs are not loose. When I put stuff in both front pockets, they definitely bulge and show the outline. An extra inch or three would have been great. I think they are little noisier as well, compared to the Adventure pants.
If you need a cargo pocket, it looks like the Marmot Cruz(available as a non-convertible pant as well) is the same as the Torrey, but with horizontal zipper, compared to the Adventure's vertical zip.
Can we do a crowd funded Kickstarter campaign to bring back the old Adventure pants?! I would sign up for at least 5 pairs.

All versions have been durable, quick-drying, and great for travel. They have been my favorite pants for touring and travel. However, both previous versions were too baggy in the legs. The design that preceeded the current style improved on the pockets. I love the multiple pockets without and with zippers for carrying accessible items and securing valuables, respectively.
This latest style is terrific! The fit is snugger and more comfortable as well as attractive. The side leg pocket is perfectly positioned not to interfere with walking or sitting, and it is the optimal size for a wallet, glasses, passport, etc. The hidden inside left front zipper pocket is a special, surprise convenience.
I only have two minor complaints, which also apply to previous editions of your Adventure pants: the fabric tends to pick up lint and I would really like a version in Black.

Rated2out of5byPillfromWhat happened to these once great pants?I bought two new pairs and don't wear them. My take is that to keep the same price point they had to cut back on material. There's one less pocket and zipper and all the pockets are now smaller. My phone falls out while sitting. The low rise cut is nice if you're in high school or a rock star. I would glady pay more for the previous version.

Rated5out of5bythirsty travelerfromNice Pants!I bought this product to replace my khakis and minimize my closet. This product is true to its advertisement and meets my needs. I would reccomend these to anyone looking for a sharp looking pare of pants that are good for multi use. The only down side is to many pockets. I would usually never say this but in the case of pants like these i would lower down the zipper pocket in the front pants pocket. I will say thought that the hidden leg pocket makes me feel like smuggling something.

Rated5out of5bySkip2thebikefromGreat travel and hiking pantsI used these pants to travel to and around Ecuador. Comfortable and stayed looking good.
The security zip pocket in the left front pocket was difficult to use - opening too small, hard to zip and unzip.
Otherwise a great pant for travel and hiking.

Rated1out of5byFenwayfromREI Signature pants allowed to declineREI is a great company with wonderful staff. But what a shame that REI's signature Adventures pants have been allowed to decline. I bought 4 pairs 3 or 4 years ago--the best everyday pants ever! I wore hiking and with a blazer and tie--all but the most formal occasions.
Then colors went out of stock, and a year or two waiting for the next issue--a disaster! The new fabric is a shiny, unattractive gray (or an impractical near-white). They are pressed so they crease on the sides, looking like bell bottoms. Before the perfect fit--now very tight in the waist, rise, and upper thighs (and I'm not heavy). The worst pair of pants I ever bought.
Please, REI, bring back the classic of 4 years ago (though with the Adventures pants hard to find in the pants section of the web site, it looks like REI is yielding the field to Ex Officio--a decent alternative, but not nearly the styling or quality of the old REI pants).

Rated4out of5byADbaltfromDurable, breathable, try before buyUse for outdoor and gym climbing, hiking, casual
Breathable, durable, lightweight, dries quickly. Fits well w/ harness, good range of motion.
Try on before you buy. 1st pair fit great, 2nd pair had to exchange (leg too narrow) Both were 32x32 seems there are some problems with fit consistency.
