I ordered four skorts, tried them all on, and this one won. I love the styling, fabric, and the comfort. It is perfect for travel - heading out this summer and this skort will take me everywhere! Will order it in the beige, too, for a back up. I have already recommended it to friends.

I was hoping that this would replace my long-loved Patagonia Duway skort. I was particularly looking forward to this skort's full-sized pockets. To my considerable disappointment, the Rendezvous Skort fell short. The overall fit was poor--the waist was too big but I anticipated that a smaller size wouldn't have helped the overall fit that much. The drawstring at the waist seemed odd on a skort. When I put my hands into the mesh-lined pockets my wedding and engagement rings got caught on the mesh (let me comment that these rings aren't adorned with any rock-sized jewels and I'd never had a similar problem with pocket--even those made of mesh). Putting keys in these pockets seemed like a big mistake. The built-in shorts are made of a knit fabric which I anticipated would feel pretty slimy on a hot, humid day (but maybe it really does wick well--I didn't get a chance to find out). On top of all this, the price was relatively high. In the end, I returned the skort.

The only reason I didn't give it a 5, was the shorts part, though extremely comfortable, were not as moisture wicking in hot weather as I thought they would be.

this skort is incredibly comfortable and flattering. I have three others in my closet and this one is definitely my favorite...It is suitable for running biking and any other outdoor activity other than swimming!

First, I tried on at least 6 different skirts/skorts at REI and a few other similar stores. This skirt was just the right length for traveling and hiking/bike riding (not too short, not too long). Also, the waist and hip area fit me (lots of other brands did not). I love the zippered pockets - great for traveling. I hesitated to spend this much money on a skort, but I've found it to be a very good value. Next test for this skort - one month in Ecuador.
