Rated5out of5byHigh Desert HikerfromSooooo ComfortableI have owned these pants for a couple months and worn them multiple times. By far the most comfortable pants I own.
I fly for work quite a bit and after a few hours in the seat most any clothes (especially pants) get uncomfortable, sweaty, etc. Not these pants. They breathe well and the fabric while strong is some sort of slighty stretchy material that lets you wiggle in your seat and not dig into your waist or make you sweat. I now take these with me on the days I fly.
They have normal pockets and two small zipper pockets (one on each side below the normal pockets). These are great for stashing cash, MP3 player, ear buds, etc.
Lastly they actually look decent so you don't sacrifice appearance for comfort.
I don't know what they will look like in 2 years and how fast i will wear them out but as of now I am extremely satisfied and would buy them again.

Rated4out of5byDread KnightfromRugged, functional and stylish w/1 flawThese are presently the best outdoor pants that I've ever purchased. I especially enjoy these when sea kayaking, since its highly breathable, water repellent and comfortable. The velcro ankle straps allow me to taper the bottom to fit my kayaking knee boots over with no pressure points. However, I wear these for all outdoor actitivities, including casual nights out. The look stylish and cool. ;) Among the cons, there's been some fraying in the stitching by the pockets. The fly button is also too easily open. Sinc there's no belt loop, but 2 self-tightening belt straps at the hips, there's no place to secure my utility knife/sheath or prevent the fly button from unsnapping. If you've got relatively heavy items (knife, smartphone, wallet, etc) the pants will just unzip and the pant will quickly drop. Belts and belt loops serve a more functional role for rugged outdoor activities to better secure these items. If it had these features, I would've rated it 5 Stars given the higher than average price. For now, it's 4, but still a great all around adventure pants.

Rated4out of5byDad Who Buys Lots of GearfromComfortable and Functional! These are very comfortable pants, they block the wind well and dry out very quickly if you get wet in the rain.
My only real gripe is the bilateral tunnel belt system--you pull on 2 tabs at each side to tighten the waist. But then you have excess belt hanging on both sides of your fly like some sort of good luck charm!Lose the silly gimmicks and put normal belt loops on these pants so you can wear a 1-1/2 inch or 1-3/4 inch wide work belt or duty belt or nylon rigger's belt.
Extra choices in color would be nice. I bought 2 pairs of these pants because they are that good... but I would have liked to buy a pair in tan or khaki, and maybe another pair in gray or that shale color of the Venturi shirt ( which I just bought today).

Rated5out of5bynegativecold13fromBest Hiking, Multipurpose outdoor pantsI bought a pair to give a test run and so far they are the most comfortable, versatile outdoor pants I have tried. I have hiked, mountain biked, flyfished in these pants with optimum results. They are lightweight so my waders go right over them and they dry in no time when I do get them wet. Sometimes I even wear them while cruising around on my motorcycle. I will purchase these again.
